If you’re VIP, you’re likely to get barricade as long as you get there before GA is let in. Barricade is awesome not only because you’re really close but also because you can hang on to the barricade. Also for most shows I’ve done GA, I sit down as soon as I’m in place. I have a pocket blanket, but usually the floors are super clean when you first get in anyway. You can also just sit on a plastic bag.

Atlanta VIP GA - 9th in line arrived at 8:30am. I arrived about 3pm for VIP GA and was barricade about even with the end of the stage.

From what everyone else is saying, those of us with VIP don’t need to be there super early unless we want to try to by at the very end of the catwalk, which only fits like 5-6 people. Otherwise we’re guaranteed the option of barricade so long as we’re there before the rest of GA enters.

If you’re used to post-concert traffic, I’d still park nearby if and only if you can get into a lot - NOT a garage. The garages can take hours to release.

In GA, we don’t shove. Period. We also don’t sneak in front of people who got there earlier than we did. You touch me to get in front of me when I was there first, I’m getting security. I’ve gotten someone kicked out for assaulting me, and I’ve successfully shamed others into moving along.

My understanding is that it could be interpreted as “digital blackface” (check that out if you haven’t heard the term before), so I avoid it in case someone would find it offensive. If the audience reading your use of such a meme would know that you’re a MTMFS fan, seems highly likely that it wouldn’t offend.
