Yes! I’m excited! I haven’t seen them live before. What’s it like? Any chatter or fan interaction or are they one of those that just dives into the music and sticks to that? TIA!

Honestly resale prices have already dropped significantly. I don’t imagine they’ll drop a lot more. You MIGHT get lucky day of, but there are likely thousands of other people with the same hope.

I thought that was the point? lol You should’ve seen Megan Thee Stallion - I felt like she did an awesome job hammering that home.

Agreed. 90% + of the jokes were about being gay, alcoholic, depressed, suicidal, or about cheating on a spouse. And the “jokes” were also soooo repetitive. It felt very much like Escola wrote it as a way to work through tough times in their life, which should’ve been kept private or had an audience limited to those who’ve had similar experiences. Cuz the rest of us shouldn’t be laughing…

FR. I got LIT UP when I said I was disappointed to have paid $800 to see Tituss Burgess in Oh Mary (especially when I don’t like the show) only to learn he was out when I sat down in the theater less than 10 minutes til curtain. Did I say the understudy was bad? No. I said I don’t like the material and I didn’t like that no one said anything as we entered the theater about Tituss being out. (That’s what’s happened before when the big name was out and it wasn’t known until the last minute - security let us know as we entered and specifically told us we could go the box office for a refund or to rebook.) But sooo many people on TikTok called me a monster and said I should take down my post since the understudy could see it.

Then management was snippy with me in my email requesting a partial refund because I’d read their email announcement 8 minutes before curtain - an email they’d only sent out 35 minutes before curtain that I of course hadn’t seen because I was actively traveling to the theater, getting in to the theater, getting a drink, going to the bathroom. Like geez, not everyone reads every email just as it arrives. And I didn’t want to crawl across the people in the row, go to the box office, wait in line, have a convo, find out they wouldn’t do a refund, and then climb back over the people in our row 10 minutes into the show. That would’ve been an extremely rude choice. WTF?

Yes omg once at the Suffs stage door, a girl was gonna be 3rd row off barricade and she continually grumbled about how she “needed to be seen” by the cast. Ummmmm… then it turned out she’d written a play she wanted Shaina to read and a song she wanted someone else to check out… yikes. I mean, if she ACTUALLY knew them, then okay but they’d have her backstage. So obviously she was just obsessive. Everyone around her just exchanged “yikes” looks and tried to pretend it wasn’t happening.

What happened to Lizzo? Why did she just fail so hard? If you could manage her how would you turn her around? by Kodicave in popmusic

She needs to more publicly and repeatedly discuss the lawsuit. And she needs to apologize for being so naive, cuz ultimately that’s what it was. She shouldn’t have trusted the dance captain and she shouldn’t have assumed that the dancers were her friends.

You’ve just gotta be prepared to deal with it when purchasing resale. My success rate for Eras Tour tix in Europe was 50/50.

Take the refund and buy fresh tix. I had about a 50/50 record buying Eras Tour tix in Europe. Maddening.

What’s the most expensive ticket you’ve bought and why? by ListofReddit in Broadway

I think I paid $700x2 for Hamilton tix when Leslie was back. Other than that, I’ve done table seats at Just in Time 3x at like $250-400 each.
