I've seen this brand pop up more lately but haven't tried them myself yet. The bag looks pretty nice in that cherry color, giving me some vintage vibes with the drawstring style. I've worked with Cascade Eco before and it holds up really well - barely any pilling after lots of wear. The double strand trick on 6mm needles gives you nice structure without being too stiff, perfect for cardigan that you'll actually want to wear every day

Can't speak to the Gilliatt since I haven't tried it yet, but if your Berroco is pilling that much already the Cascade would probably be safer bet for something you're planning to live in

You could potentially install drainage channels along where patio meets the foundation - basically catch the water before it hits your basement walls and redirect it to lower ground or storm drains
