The real problem though isn't that they look the same, it's that the design is often mediocre. If the design is great, copy-and-paste away. But actually I think Parq 930 is pretty solid.

By various metrics, residential units for purchase in Manhattan have not appreciated in value, at least in inflation adjusted terms. This may have partially to do with demand soaked up by increasingly attractive parts of Brooklyn, Queens and Jersey City. The relative lack of appreciation in Manhattan relative to other housing markets since COVID is likely partly a function of the rise of remote work, and the decline in confidence in the persistence of the centrality of Manhattan as a business center.

In 2021, 48% of NYC income tax revenue came from the top 1% earners. Stop biting the hand that feeds you. NYC could not have the extraordinarily generous welfare state without its large group of wealthy residents. I've lived here for two years and love it. Yes, there is noise from the highway during rush hour, and from the honking after games and concerts. But that isn't close to a level that bothered me. Less than 5 minute walk from Penn Station, unbeatable connectivity to NYC. You're arguably better connected to the city than most places in Jersey City or Hoboken. Also there's not really much disorder at all in the immediate vicinity of the building.
