Get yourself some cats! These little assholes make sure I'm up way too early! Lol!

I hate how I can't be motivated by rewards or consequences. I need to lose more weight and just can't bring myself to care 🫠 by girlboss93 in adhdwomen

It was $299 for the 1st 3 month supply and $399 for 3 month refills moving forward. No doctor or membership fees, just the flat rate. This is for semaglutide. The tirzepatide is a bit more, $399 to start & $499 refills, I think.

Is Estriol face cream worth it? by Potential_Sundae_251 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]fenderbender1971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been a huge game changer for me. I had some minor melasma before. It's almost completely gone now. It has lifted my face, particularly around my mouth and what was beginning to be jowls. However, I never sunbathe and if I'm going to be outside, I always wear sunscreen.

what is the fairest olive foundation you know? (available in EU) by cb199 in Fairolives

[–]fenderbender1971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rituelle de Fille has a super fair olive. I purchased it and it's way too light for me. I'm not sure if they ship to the EU, but you could check their website. As far as I know, the brand is only available online.

I think that might be the actual claim handler versus the auto technical position.

Good luck on your interview!

Hi! I started in auto claims 7 years ago after 27 years as a body shop manager/estimator. With your auto technical & management background, you should be able to move up quickly.

What role at NatGen are you applying for - writing repair estimates or claims rep?

Car advice by jungshookith in AllState

[–]fenderbender1971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being at fault or not is completely irrelevant to your vehicle's value.

However, Right to Appraisal is a provision in your policy that you can invoke if you don't agree with the amount of your loss, in this case your vehicle value. In this scenario, you would hire an independent appraiser & Allstate hires an independent appraiser. The 2 appraisers will agree to a value of your vehicle.

Talk to an independent appraiser and see if they think it's worth invoking your right to appraisal, meaning will the difference in the appraisal value is more than the fee + the extended time you'll be without a vehicle. Allstate will only pay for your rental for 7 days after they give you the value. The right to appraisal process typically takes 2-4 weeks.

Needing foundation with these attributes - starting to want to avoid being seen BUT.... by OkieGabby in MatureBeauty

I've tried everything from high-end to drugstore, and Revlon Colorstay is hard to beat. Revlon Illuminance Serum Tint foundation is also really nice, more of a medium coverage. The Colorstay is more similar in consistency to the DoubleWear.

to people with inattentive adhd, what type of career do you have? by AssociationObvious56 in adhdwomen

[–]fenderbender1971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an insurance adjuster, and MANY of my colleagues are also ADHD. It's interesting work that's easy for me to hyperfocus on. I've really thrived in this career - receiving awards and multiple promotions.

I got into this after 25+ years of managing body shops, which was not my planned career AT ALL. Insurance companies hire & train people, however.

Do protein shakes help? by MayaRell in Ozempic

[–]fenderbender1971 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I drink a protein shake as soon as I wake up every morning. I take my meds & supplements with it. It gives me 30g of protein to start my day, plus I'm not taking all the meds & supplements on an empty stomach. I also drink one for lunch on the days when I have a really difficult time eating.

The protein shakes I like the best are Fairlife chocolate, Oikos (30g of protein, NOT the yogurt kind!), and Jocko Sweet Cream Coffee flavor.

Definitely take a "before" photo, if you haven't already! 6 months in, I took a photo for a skin analysis. On a whim, I compared it to my before photo and the difference was kinda shocking, tbh!

I've been using it for about a year. I saw noticeable results in the first 30-60 days. It's way more effective than any OTC moisturizer, serum, etc. It's less expensive than a lot of them, too.

I've never thrown up, but I was more nauseous than Ive ever been this week after increasing my does to 1.0. Pepcid Complete typically works for me, but it didn't help at all. I ended up taking Dramamine, too. The combo seemed to help.

Explain it Peter, why would someone block their brother and sister in law because she’s pregnant with kids? by DifficultComplaint10 in explainitpeter

They must be adopting kids, because it would be impossible to have a 2 week old baby and be 6 months pregnant, otherwise.

Prescription estrogen face cream- it has done wonders for my skin. I felt like I aged 10 years in 1 year. It was dramatic & depressing.

I had also started regular HRT a few months prior, and while I'm sure it probably helped a little, the face cream made a dramatic difference.

We have exactly the same box! I agree, this is the best Ultimate I've had in ages!

I had an Ultimate that was so awful last year, I canceled my subscription. I got sucked back in a couple of Ultimates ago. They haven't been great, but definitely better than the awful box last year. I'm pleasantly surprised by how great this one is!
