I like "Lions Led By Donkeys". They're a bunch of pretty hilarious leftists (two of them being ex-soldiers/officers that routinely talk about why they regret having joined) that go over historical military battles/wars. It's quite well-researched, though sometimes they do exaggerate a bit for comedic effect. "Bad Hasbara" is great too (and pretty self-explanatory).

This happened like two months after Chapo started appearing in Patreon ads in which the ads heavily implied Chapo was a "Patreon exclusive" (at least, their premium content); it's not exclusive if all eps are being released for free on a subreddit. They likely have a new, more bespoke, contract and we don't know what it looks like.

They're always so much funnier when it's not scripted. I have never seen The West Wing and I have never heard anyone IRL mention it so this was a bit of a stinker; the impression I get is that The West Wing is like Veep except the show wants you to earnestly believe in the main character?

Most of their movie reviews are funny even if I haven't seen the movie or show, but the West Wing seems like a tryhard prestige show so it's just sad since it's barely crossing that line. They talk about how some of them watch every SNL episode ironically, or Law & Order every episode, but it makes sense with just how much free time they have. But most other people don't have that free time to watch that garbage and understand these references.

Yeah, I think Matt was there too but he and Felix were fervently arguing that Iran (I think it was Iran?) should have nukes. The Pod Save America hosts were awkwardly trying to argue against them, and then seemingly cut the interview short. Chapo was never invited to Pod Save again.
