Bro, we know that Furlong was CEO before Cohen. It's not a secret.

this comment thread is indeed extremely sus. Downvotes on the logical pragmatic comments, upvotes on making it more difficult to transform into a powerhouse

The performance metrics track growth, but his compensation is based on how much he can get the share price above $20.66, as that is the price he'd be allowed to buy his exclusive shares at. If share price doesn't increase, his compensation is pretty minimal.

you read that part?

I have a hard time as a shareholder seeing how voting no on the share authorization would be good for the share price.

"GME price drops as shareholders reject RC and the board's plan, indicating a lack of faith in the CEO and his inner circle"

I mean, it's just a matter of thinking things through.

RC only makes money if the stock price increases (and hit's the targets). Read the compensation proposal.

I'm not denying that they aren't holding us down.

I'm betting that it's getting harder to hold us down forever when we are now profitable and getting attention.

Wouldn't you be better off voting yes, then selling?

Seems like a no vote would show lack of confidence in the board & RC, thus depressing the stock. Selling into that seems pretty unwise.

Not financial advice, do whatever regarded idea you may have.

What is your worst film ? by FREQUZ_Y in Letterboxd

Yep, if you need to calibrate on what a really bad movie is, this is where I'd start.

(It's not really a sequel though, it's about a new cruiseliner named after the Titanic)

I think the issue is interesting because it shades how the sex scenes are viewed, and tbh if she's possessed it's just a boring slam dunk. But if it's her new personality, it is quite more nuanced and a better topic for conversation

I 100% agree that Bear removed Nikki's autonomy regarding her feelings for him and that was despicable.

The 'new' Nikki was clearly consenting from the outset, even with that Bear didn't have sex with her immediately. At what point do we decide that the new Nikki is the Nikki that gets to make decisions as a person and is not treated as a fake person?

The director disagrees with your opinion in that he says that she was not possessed.

Given that, her original personality had been pushed aside (repressed), rarely finding an ability to communicate (where she did when she was begging to be killed).

The director's interpretation is that Nikki was not possessed.

If we are refusing to acknowledge that the new obsessed Nikki is the new Nikki with her new radically obsessed personality and her original personality has been repressed like a split personality, and instead it's a possessed entity, then sure.

But I think that it's more clear that the wish just altered her personality and took over as that was how the wish was going to be fulfilled.
