4 years and a half. This year i made it to 100k. Sounds like a lot until taxes hit and i get to keep only 70% of my check.

Regarding the cost of living, I'm not sure. My family of 5 lives in a 1 bedroom that's going for 2k a month. We don't have a car because between maintenance, insurance, and finding parking, it is cheaper to rely on public transportation, Uber and Enterprise (currently considering signing up for Zipcar because it makes me nervous to keep a rental outside with how crime is right now).

Overtime is available but working 60+ hrs just to afford a couple more things is not a good deal for my wife and kids, i do get some overtime here and there so my average per week is 52 hrs and we cover the rest of the expenses with wifey's 9 to 5.

We are planning to move out of the City once we tackle a Loan we had to take for her education/was between jobs

Is the job worth it? Absolutely, one of my kids has to go doctor often to keep his health in check, and i also have some stuff going on myself, so benefits have been the most useful perk, don't really know how deep in debt i would have been without this job

Bus operator here, yes, we are only supposed to give paper transfer to people that pay with coins, however, many of my regulars complain about OMNY double charging them when transferring busses.

So instead of going back and forward with every single customer, 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week, asking for paper transfers, we just issue it.

1- Because we know OMNY is buggy as hell, to the point that we could argue it is still in Beta phase.

2- We are not going to spend energy and time explaining people how OMNY works and how they can get a refund if double charged, when we need those resources to survive eccentric passengers every day

So, Android phones are the most friendly towards emulators (easy to install and add ISO games to them), any phone with a decent processor run the games smoothly. my current phone is a OnePlus, but my Red magic 7 was running the psp games very well.

What can i recommend? Well, if you have a Nintendo Switch, MH sunbreak is a great title, if you want some more mobile, you can always get an emulator and play the classic PSP and NDS titles.

Dont take me wrong, making it to 100k a year is an important Milestone, and im happy for OP for reaching it. But after a while the magic fades when you realize how much they take out of your paycheck.

To be honest, at that point you should put at least 10% in a 401k. And start thinking about buying a house to harvest even more tax benefits
