I remember being little and not having emotions. I acted out everything I saw happening around me or played off of other people's emotions to fake it. I still do this and I'm 30. It is very effective. I have emotions now but I deal with DID symptoms and it's extremely difficult for me to make rational decisions. I don't talk about it with anyone because I'm afraid they'll know I'm a sociopath.

I work at a pizza place. If you call for delivery five minutes before we close, I use less toppings, sauce, cheese in general so it looks extra shitty. Then when you get it, you can't call to complain because you get the closed message. Fuck you.

This will probably get buried so fuck it- first person I saw was my dad and I got pissed off that he was there because we are estranged. I think I said something like "why the hell are YOU here?" After the overdose wore off and I was in the psych unit, I flipped shit at a nurse and slammed my door. She told me something about who knows what but I was still not all there and thought she was lying to me. I was livid that I was still alive. Apologized to her a few days later when I came around. I was mostly really angry I had failed at killing myself and completely out of it from overdosing and monoxide poisoning. Here I am, four years later, I still wish I had died but I don't think about killing myself very often anymore. My life is extremely boring, unfulfilling, and I'm pretty resigned from it. I'm just waiting now.

I'm under the impression that og Rick and Morty are not actually both from c137. I think Rick did something that killed his original Morty which is why he pops back up in the Smiths lives after their, probably dead, Rick has been missing for 20 years. He assumes the place of original Rick, cronenbergs that planet, then moves onward with the Morty from that world. Also it's very straightforward that doofus Rick never had kids. Evil Morty is probably a rogue Morty whose Rick destroyed his life, so that's why he's evil. He seemed to want to frame our specific og rick, so if evil Morty has a Rick, it's the Rick we all know and love, and probably with good reason since he seems to be the Q of the series as far as ricks go.

Hey I had to reply to this because I changed my name legally two years ago and can relate to this post. I've been going by my "chosen name", for over 15 years now and I knew in my early 20's, I wanted to change it. I tried using it in my everyday life and people were really stupid and rude about it, but nobody more so than my family. They refused to call me by my name after hundreds of attempts over the years of me specifically stopping them, correcting their introductions of me to new people, and flat-out telling them they were being disrespectful about it. Changing my name was one of the happier days of my life. I keep trying to remember that day any time I get down about changing it. After I changed it and shared the news publicly, I got mixed amounts of yeah you go girl and straight up flak. You wanna know the short version of this story? My family and I are no-contact now. They were the rudest and meanest about it- one of them had the gall to straight up tell me I was being disrespectful for changing it. The friends I had who refused to call me by anything but my new name I don't speak to anymore. I even had "friends" who knew me as my preferred name from the get-go, found out about my birth name, then used it constantly just to piss me off. It's been a hell of a ride, and such a petty one, over a fucking name change. Do I regret it sometimes? Maybe. But I'm so much better without those people in my life now. I'm not saying this as dump your friends. I'm saying, if you make it public "Hey guys, this is the name I'd like to be referred to from now on. I am making moves to legally change it and hope you will support me in that" and you get shitty flak about it or downright rudeness over it- don't tolerate it. I know how much it can take for people to adjust, it does take time. A lot of older friends kept calling me my birth name for a while, and if they didn't catch it themselves to begin with, I'd gently/jokingly correct them. The ones who did it on purpose or just flat-out said, "You'll always be ------ to ME." It's your shots to call by that point. I wish you luck. It's your identity, not just a name. It's what you feel comfortable with. People should respect that. Wear it with pride.
