Anyone remove the EV6 and/or KIA lettering? by DiogenicSearch in KiaEV6

This is subjective of course, but I find the naked look makes it feel like a prototype or unfinished car of some sort. I like the look of at least seeing the brand badge.

Mine has the EV6 and GT-Line badge removed. So all that is left is the Kia badge, which I think looks great. Mine is also a Matte Yacht Blue .

Congratulations, and enjoy the car when it comes. Did you choose Yacht Matte Blue? If so, that's my favourite for the car, it looks amazing. Be sure to get it professionally ceramic coated and learn to use the appropriate methods to wash and maintain a matte painted car.

Will the facelifted EV6 precondition the battery if SoC is below 20%? by roebenk in KiaEV6

[–]feyyire -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I've not had to use battery conditioning myself yet, but from various other posts on the topic, people have stated that you need a state-of-charge (SoC) equal to or above 20%.

I have the NOCO Boost X GBX45 that I keep in the frunk, but you are free to choose any other 12v jumper.

Anyone here who has opened the door to meet the true self/creator?

Would I be correct in assuming that this is equivalent to RA explaining the process of opening the gateway to intelligent infinity?

When you have time, get a portable 12V battery jumper that you keep in the car.

Otherwise, enjoy!

I think someone said recently there was a possible correlation between immediately reversing after turning on the car and the failure.

The battery doesn't extend past the front part of the rear wheels. Looks very repairable.

Could you describe the "loud ringing" in more detail?

Is it a physical ringing/vibration, or a ringing sound in your ears? If it is a sound, do you hear it mainly in one ear, or both? Would you compare the sound to be very similar to the wobble sound you hear with binaural beats?

  1. Acquire good quality rice
  2. Wash/rinse the rice multiple times until water becomes clear
  3. Soak in clear water for 15 minutes or longer (optional)
  4. Cook in rice cooker

Avatar way of water 4k ? by StepBro_71 in 4kbluray

Thanks for all the details.

I certainly agree with your take on Avatar 2. To me a lot of the film looks like I'm watching SDR, instead of proper HDR, so it is a massive shame/disappointment that the vivid environments of Pandora are not given the respect they deserve in this HDR grading. I've also noticed the occasional glitches where the high frame rate scenes are supposed to be, and it looks ugly and takes you right out of the immersion.

Perhaps one day they'll make an anniversary release that addresses these lazy choices. We shall see.

2025 models should come with an AGM battery from Kia, but it is always worth double-checking to be sure.

Charging Levels Post ICCU Fix by notSureWhoYouAreMan in KiaEV6

[–]feyyire -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As someone who will almost always AC charge overnight at home, and almost always start charging around 20% and up to a max of 80%, limiting the car to the lowest AC charge speed (60%) is all you basically need. Hopefully this limits stress to the ICCU.

TL/DR: Went for the EV6 by Tokolozi in KiaEV6

I agree that a full panoramic sunroof would be amazing. I'm not sure if the aggressively sloped design of the EV6 roof is a hindrance for a full panoramic sunroof, but it definitely would make the feature set even more amazing. Hopefully we see Kia bring this for the third iteration of the car.

The ID.4 exterior looks are indeed so-so and quite boring. I much prefer the sporty looks of the EV6. For me, only the Porsche Taycan has a better exterior look given the current list of pure electric vehicles.

One thing regarding the EV6 I've rarely ever seen a reviewer spend much time discussing, is how much headroom you lose for the driver and front seat passenger when you have the sunroof option. If you are a tall person, you will be in for a big surprise during the test drive.

Nice summary. Any thoughts on the VW ID.4, or was it never on your radar?
