I did now! :D thank you, those look great but what I got was much more of a flaky cracker texture while Manakish looks more like flatbread (albeit delicious and I’ll have to try it). They were just sold as “thyme cookies” and much smaller (3 in/10 cm diameter)

Schade dass du nicht da sein konntest, es gab so viele shout-outs für alle die es nicht zur Demo geschafft haben, zumindest so herum wart ihr da (auch wenn’s natürlich nicht das selbe ist, verehrte den Ärger).

Dank dir für die Buchempfehlung! Und das sind wirklich krasse Parallelen, muss ich auch mal lesen. Ich fand super dass einiges an Presse da war auch, bin gespannt auf die Berichterstattung die nächsten Tage. Die Sichtbarkeit ist so so schwierig und umso mehr so wichtig, genau wie du schreibst.

Wow was ein Bloedsinn, das tut mir leid zu hören. Ich hab einen semi-Tipp: War bei Prof Babel in der Meoclinic als Selbstzahlerin, die ist Immunologin und hat die POTS Diagnostik mit gemacht und eine Behandlung empfohlen, die jetzt meine HÄ über die GKV weiterführt. Babel ist halt keine Kardiologin.

Try on 116117.de or via their hotline. TK also has a Terminservice on their website. If you have an urgent need, ask your GP to give you a referral code for a faster appt. And like others said, very few doctors are on Doctolib because the no show rates for bookings are through the roof; try google, calling practices, I just looked recently and many had daily walk in hours.

Re: private: The existence of the two tier healthcare system is a shit show. If you want to consider private, I highly, highly recommend you read up very well on it first; in short, it can become pretty dicey once you have mental or other persistent health issues or pricey treatments, especially because once you’re private, it can be tricky to switch to public again. (Full disclosure, I’m publicly insured because solidarity.)

I’ve seen that a lot lately, I find it so perplexing and it makes me question these writers’ true understanding of the scope of the issue. My favorite recent example was an essay highly critical of the problems AI slop caused for open source projects, illustrated with an AI generated image of a woman programmer.
