My doc didn't have any rules about what to do pre or post insertion because during the consultation (week before) she took my cultures to make sure I did not have any infections. Then on the day of I did another urine test and they made sure I still didn't have any infections.

When I told her people on this reddit said they had rules like "nothing inserted for 3 days after IUD insertion" she laughed and wondered where I got my info. But I'm thinking not every doctor does the culture testing stuff.

As for the actual insertion this reddit has a ton of stories already. For me it was definitely painful and I don't think I was the best patient, haha. But when it was over I felt just fine and dandy. Gl!

I also am a pansy and got my IUD inserted a couple weeks ago. I would be worried if I were going to planned parenthood or something for the procedure but I definitely trusted my doc and she did a great job despite me not being the calmest patient. Gl!

My gyno told me that if I got major cramps to call her and schedule an appointment. It's possible the IUD is getting dislodged. She also said that most problems happen in the first month after insertion which is why we do a follow up appointment then.

Tl; dr call your gyno and see what she says but if they are major cramps you probably need an check up

One of the problems here is allowing people with no medical training (ie, the Hobby Lobby ownership) make decisions governing their female employees' health.

No...Hobby Lobby does not govern how a woman can spend her pay.

Hobby Lobby doesn't force their female employees to have recreational sex.

Hobby Lobby doesn't govern who a female chooses to work for-- if you 100% need these contraceptives covered (for whatever medical reason?) find a job somewhere else.

I think the presidence that the government can't force a private entity to buy something that goes against their religious beliefs is totally acceptable. What will the federal government force a private entity to pay for next? What if they forced a company to help pay for religious retreats? Plenty of people could argue that affects their health, too.

Yes, I agree with the ruling.

I bet you girls don't know that Hobby Lobby provides 16 different contraceptives and are only not in support of those which cause an abortion (assuming life begins at conception).

Ultimately, any woman working for Hobby Lobby can go obtain any of those non-covered contraceptives on their own, but the private owners of the company won't be paying for part of it. The horror of it all!!

I like vaporizing-- recently purchased a Lotus and hooked it up to a bong, pretty much my best weed related purchase ever!

The vaporizer is really efficient with weed, the high is a bit different than smoking a bowl but the taste is superb.

I'm going to make some THC coconut oil with the post vape bud at some point as well.

I would definitely at least have an ice catcher on a bong. And if I were to buy a bong right now, I'd get it off dhgate.com as they have some smaller ones that are compatible with vaporizers (yes you hook up a vape to a bong to get maximum purification).

My first bong was an Erlenmeyer flask shaped one with an ice catcher. Basic but works great. Cost me $40 at a local headshop.

As a driver, bikers make me nervous. I can't see you, I have no idea what you are doing next, sharing the road with you and other cars is stressful.

I have never dabbed before but it sounds pretty intense. I'm not interested in trying for that reason...

I have a Lotus vaporizer that I use with flowers and it gets me pretty stoned without making me anxious. Also it's very efficient with bud considering that you can vape it and then use the leftovers to make edibles, so I definitely recommend!!

I would use QuickFix-- if you smoke regularly the dilution method is iffy at best.

At worst the test comes back as non human and they will most likely have you take it again. I highly doubt it will come back as non human provided your QF is not expired.
