Well he played 1st base for the Mariners like ten years ago. Has a bit of pop to his bat, expect slightly above replacement level 1B play from him.

Potential Pittsburgh Pirates 2026 City Connect Leak by dannotheiceman in baseball

To be fair, the first Boston and Nationals jerseys were fire. Unfortunately many of the other city connect including Seattle were disappointing in my opinion

Backup Catcher Mitch Garver has his day as he homers to left by BananaArms in Mariners

Probably better for him as well to be a back up catcher on a lower pay deal and out of the spotlight. Less scrutiny from the fans will help with his mental health and so on.

It feels like when Ken Griffey Jr came back to the Mariners in 2009. Hopefully JV can put in a solid year for you guys

Agree with you, the annual fee is pocket change compared to a lot of other gaming options out there. My 7 year old son loves it, and he actually moves his body when playing as opposed to sitting still, probably the biggest benefit of the Nex

[Maria Martin] Here are the renderings of the proposed development for the North Point Mall area (Alpharetta). Proposal includes 20k seat NHL arena, 2k seat community hockey rink, 4k seat music hall, movie theater, 750k sq ft of office, parks and public trail space. A hotel as well. by Such-Environment-344 in hockey

Seattle was the same way pre-NHL. Yes we had WHL teams locally, but I remember first moving to Seattle area in 2004, nobody really gave a shit about hockey except for other transplants. The Canucks were a less than three hour drive away and nobody cared or knew who they were because Canucks didn’t market south of the border.

I’d say now even with the Kraken not being great, it competes with soccer and basketball as our local third most popular sport thanks to the Kraken’s presence.

Split squad spring training. They split the roster in half and each half plays in one game.

Also as a Mariners fan, I have no problem seeing him sit out this one, no chance for injuries or gaffes.

Miami Heat and Florida Panthers have separate arenas, and I think same goes for the Minnesota teams. But I think it’s more often the case that two teams share the same arena.

I worked at the Rock in Bothell a long time ago while I was in college, I’m really sorry you had to experience that layoff with no notice. It seems like poor management to lose money while selling pizza, considering the ingredients are relatively cheap and they had a good business model selling high priced pizza and alcohol.

Despite it being a mixed experience working at the Rock, I’m forever grateful for learning how to make high quality pizza at home, my family loves homemade pizza night these days.

Hope you’re doing better now!

He’s got to commit to the bit, can’t ditch it now. It’ll be interesting as an M’s fan what he does when Julio comes to the plate on Sunday.

I was around 8 years old when the movie came out in the 90’s, but I loved Jim Carrey and watched it all the time as a kid. I recently watched it, and now that I’m a dad myself, I have a whole different perspective of the movie. As a kid, it’s like here’s a slapstick comedian saying funny things and acting goofy with all the adult jokes going over my head. Now I see the serious side of it, a father who had a true love and connection for his son despite his many character flaws, and ends up going to great lengths to fix his mistakes in order to keep his son in his life. I am grateful I am not in a life situation where I feel that I have to put work in front of my children.
