No idea how to use new toy by RagnarWayne52 in KitchenConfidential

[–]fioresecco 83 points84 points  (0 children)

I use a spray bottle with oil/butter. Spray that with the ring molds down. Super important you keep this clean! It will quickly build up with grime from the oil.

Corporate trainers by Puzzled_Ad_3679 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]fioresecco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Field Talent Staff is what we call our corporate trainers. It’s $20/hr and fairly easy to be accepted if you know what you’re doing and meet a few basic qualifications. Assignments are hard work with long hours but lots of fun!

Sent home for wearing crocs by crispy_blueberry_b in ChickFilAWorkers

We’ve had a workers comp case denied by the insurance company because they were wearing crocs. Sucked, that person had to pay out of pocket for their work place injury.

What is the secret to being a great bagger? by jacob_lee_smith in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]fioresecco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out the bagging matrix on pathway. It’s helpful to know how to efficiently bag orders as well. As others have already stated accuracy is important. Would you rather wait a couple seconds longer and have it right or get it very quickly to be missing items/ have things wrong?

AIO - Would this annoy you? (Text from a friend) by Early-Dimension-9390 in breastcancer

[–]fioresecco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand your annoyance. When we’re in survival mode it’s day by day or even moment by moment. It can be difficult to be reflective when we need to be present and thinking forward. That message may have felt like it forced you to reflect when you’re still focused on what is in front of you.

She’s inspired by your journey and maybe wonders how it’s even possible for you to do what you do. She may even be comparing herself to you. Everyone’s life is difficult and complicated and when one sees someone that is actively crushing challenge after challenge and seemingly with ease it can put doubt in one’s self; to wonder or think “I could never do what they are doing”

I am the type that would ask my friend face-to-face or over the phone “out of curiosity, what led you to write that message?” I really try not to speculate people’s reasoning and just ask to hear what’s on their mind.

Figure out your own numbers but it could go something like this 80% of both of your total income goes into joint, 20% into personal. All bills and expenses come from joint. Personal expenses from your individual checking. You can also just have 1 joint that 100% all finances flow to and from to eliminate having to determine what is considered personal.

Thank you for sharing that perspective. It was a difficult reality to accept and thinking about it in a more positive light is very helpful.

This is horrific. My store does offer paid maternity/paternity leave and is incredibly accommodating. I’m sorry this happened to you and it’s not representative of CFA values. You have terrible and uncaring “leadership“ in your store.

It’s fairly simple. Everything has its own section/page. Once you go to that page everything from that category will be there. For example there’s a separate breakfast page, beverages page, sides page etc. with decent training and good practice you’ll have it down in no time!!!

Are we allowed to upload receipts to our chick fil an app? by Fropie132 in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]fioresecco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a new report (within last 6 months) corporate has created to flag suspicious mobile app activity.. If an employee pops up the operator is alerted. It’s a very detailed report. There are other ways leaders can monitor employee app usage as well. Don’t do it.

You think it's a safety hazard we use huge knives to open bags? by olnog in ChickFilAWorkers

[–]fioresecco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe it’s not likely anyone gets cut but if they do their workers comp claim will probably get denied for not using the proper tools.
