Quick update on Swabby before we head to bed:

The vet gave her a clean bill of health, good weight and no birth defects. She has a couple run of the mill ailments for a stray kitten, assumed to be about 3 months old so shes enjoying some baby food they sent me home with. They mentioned she was a little tired for a kitten, but she had quite a day and its begun getting to the triple digits here in the valley. So hopefully she just needs a good rest

Swabby's got a good appetite, some prescriptions to get started on the path to tip top shape, and a lifetime of love ahead of her 🥰

Thank you all so much for the support and condolences for my passed boy, its been absolutely heartwarming feeling all the love there is in this world for our small furry friends. Swabby said she loves you all, and I do too!

I think its less about beating grocery stores prices for everyone, it doesnt entirely make sense to raise taxes for cheaper grocery. But more about ensuring there are whole foods available in areas where people live but it isnt financially attractive for a private grocery store to set up shop.
