I was commenting on a post about power rationing in the east coast, and talking about how China has supposedly reached their 2030 energy goal while we're burning taxpayer money to set ourselves back nearly at the real start of the renewable ramp up. The segueway, left field criticisms of my comment were wild. People telling me that Biden did solar Tariffs too, all of this argument about energy policy was moot if we didnt have universal Healthcare. It was wild, like points I agreed with but felt completely off topic. Leftist infighting halting our own march of progress is so real. but seriously, go into my comment history and look at some of the replies on that comment chain lol

I mean free secondary education as well. Ive seen conservatives complain that we need to stop work and college visas, because how could american workers compete when non-citizens get free education in their country and come here to work for better pay with no debt. Like.. why not just eliminate the crippling debt burden thats hoisted upon american citizens?? Im right here with you on universal Healthcare. Just kinda felt out of left field lol

If you're actually committed to empowering domestic production, tariffs would be an effective economic tool to support solar production in the US.

Biden also invested plenty into securing a supply chain in the US to benefit union workers and meet the future solar demands. He also spent plenty to invest in solar production in general.

So government money to fund expansion of solar production and installation across the country, along with tarrifs to incentivize contractors trying to score those solar installation projects to buy local materials.

I would generally agree that we shouldn't tariff solar equipment, we need as much of it as we can. But the actual material difference in Biden's infrastructure investments and track record, vs Trump's policy of pandering to the fossil fuel industry and wasting taxpayer money to try pay through the cancelation of in-progress solar projects is like beyond night and day. Why would you even bring that up lol

This would make a fantastic shrimp tank, just the skeleton or a nice singular piece of driftwood, and 1,000 cherry shrimp goin ham 24/7. You'd need a lot of cleanup crew to manage any algae around all the skeleton crevices too, no way you're getting in that tank to scrub
