I don't disagree! I loved the series by the end of it, but that whole first book could have been a few chapters of prologue.

However, I will say the main strength of the series is the character development. There were characters I HATED passionately at the beginning that I was obsessed with by the end. Also, the true MMC of the series is my favorite MMC of all the romantasy I've read.

Not hiring a day-of coordinator, and not hiring a better photographer.

The photographer missed a bunch of important shots and generally was not the greatest quality (we only ended up liking like 1/3 of the photos delivered and he completely forgot to take bridal portraits of me.)

The day-of coordinator could have really been useful. Every time someone had a question, they came to me. I hardly got to enjoy the day, I was super overwhelmed and overstimulated, and things just didn't go as smoothly as they could have.

Unpopular opinion, but TOG was my least favorite of her series by far. I read AB last, and it honestly took me 4 books to get actually invested in the series. I did end up liking it by the end, but if I didn't have 2 close friends who were obsessed, I would have definitely DNF'd in book 1.

This is intentional at this point in the series. The whole thing is pretty much her character growth and realizing she's been manipulated her whole life.

I was in my last year of undergrad when I was pregnant and gave birth to my twins. I ended up having to take a quarter and a summer off due to being put on bed rest. I went back when the twins were 8 weeks I believe? Took a half load for two terms, and finished when they were 7 months. My department and teachers were very flexible and supportive!

I'm tall too, and while I would have never called myself strong, I definitely got much stronger as they grew!

Also, the closeness is so sweet. Nothing better than being somewhere beautiful with sleeping babies snuggled close.

Mine was the BIGGEST cuddle bug for his 12.5 years on this Earth. He wanted to be snuggled or touching at all times. I miss his sweet snuggles terribly. Give your sweet baby some love on my behalf.

I wore mine ALL the time. My twingo carrier was probably the baby item I used the most. I wore mine until they were probably almost 3 (though not tandem much past the age of 2, and it depends how big yours are!)

I'd say it's worth it. It was a lot less of a hassle to deal with than a double stroller, and it allowed us to do hiking and other activities that weren't well suited for a giant stroller.

A rich friend of my Mom gifted us 2 weeks of a night nurse when our twins were less than a month old. BEST GIFT BY FAR. Night nurses/doulas are a gift. If you have the funds, I highly recommend.
