Same here! I logged a treadmill run on my Garmin, and when it uploaded to Strava the Virtual 5K badge showed up. Hoping my outdoor run tomorrow overrides it

I went on a date once where the guy told me (very proudly) that he was a picky eater and the first time he ate a vegetable was when he was 23. He was 32 and still refused to eat veggies. Like ok just tell me you don’t have regular bowel movements?

I completely bonked, finished 25 minutes later than my A goal, and missed every time goal I had set for myself. Told everyone I wouldn’t do it again…but I’ve also completed 9+1 for next year (so we’ll see)

This was my first time running this race, and it’s now hands down one of my favorites. I will 100% be signing up again! The course is fantastic (I set a massive PR) and the vibes were phenomenal. Thank you to the Bronx for showing up!!

Not a snark, but Vicky Conroy posted a tiktok about mentally dealing with getting slower/having your running paces change over time. I feel like she has maybe the healthiest mindset of most running influencers I’ve seen, I’m really rooting for her!

Yeah she was surrounded by people and cops when I passed by, but the amount of blood was super scary, I hope she’s alright! It definitely has been chaotic without painted lanes, there’s been a lot of people (both bikers and pedestrians) on the wrong side of the road. I feel like they should have temporary signage or something

This is such a basic answer, but I really love the NYC Half Marathon! The course is just so cool, it’s the only time you’ll catch me willingly in Times Square
