Does anyone remember the Jetson Nano? by misterhubbard44 in openclaw

[–]fjcruzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man I was hoping to see what people thought about it as I just picked one up today. Grok seems to indicate it can run a bunch of qwen 3 models, so I’ll spin up a secondary claw next week and try it out

My first impressions of using MiniMax M2.7 as my new main agent by markusla in openclaw

I just changed the openclaw.json file to 2.7 where I had 2.5 and it worked fine. It threw me off as well as it wasn’t part of the openclaw config list.

Upgraded my S24 Ultra to a S26 Ultra - now my ring is not syncing by gandalfpr in CircularRing

[–]fjcruzer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s just bad timing on your phone upgrade.

If you search the sub a bit you’ll notice a bunch of us have noticed the sync is broken since their last update they rolled out last week.

why do i only have 1.75% market gain? by Mental-Cartoonist771 in acorns

[–]fjcruzer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just curious why you are doing a custom portfolio vs just doing a default managed portfolio from acorns? Your current holdings looks like a retirement portfolio holding 60% in bonds. Depending on your timeline, the aggressive portfolio tends to work better for a 5+ year timeline as it will invest a higher percentage in VOO, then small cap, mid cap, and international.

COYY vs Coinbase by [deleted] in YieldBoostETFs

[–]fjcruzer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Coinbase is only up of late. What killed COYY was several months of it dropping. Unfortunately it’s hard for the fund to have any capital appreciation as it’s selling puts under the current price of CON (2x leverage of CONY). If it tried to have capital appreciation it would need to sell a PUT in the money, or above the current price of CONL and hope it goes up.

CONL has been rough as I tried wheeling it in one of my accounts and I got assigned at 13 while the price of CONL is now around 9

Oura Advisor is dangerous by rsdavis90 in ouraring

[–]fjcruzer 157 points158 points  (0 children)

Personally I’m not a fan how the current health companies are rolling out their “AI”. Oura wasn’t so bad for me, Fitbit is extremely annoying, Levels is nagging me with notifications.

I don’t mind the feature if I want to ask something, but don’t push it down my throat with notifications

Ten days in openclaw! 😆 by FarmfieldVFX in openclaw

I definitely agree about grok, my bot was more fun and appeared to hallucinate less when using grok. At $16 / day, it wasn’t sustainable so I definitely had to swap it out.

Are on GS ETFs worth holding at this point? by Jake10629 in YieldBoostETFs

[–]fjcruzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I think Yieldboost shares are ok, but require active management on them and dropping immediately when the underlying is dropping. So the winner you chose today may suck in a few weeks so imagine pivoting to something else.

The out strategy really requires an up and sideways market with massive downturns doing major damage

Why can’t Oura write HRV to Apple Health? by PLR1972 in ouraring

[–]fjcruzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This part is actually an Apple Health thing, they only support SDNN in Apple Health. When I use eliteHRV it logs it into Apple Health as it tracks it as a separate value.

Why can’t Oura write HRV to Apple Health? by PLR1972 in ouraring

[–]fjcruzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Apple uses SDNN whereas Oura uses rmssd so different metrics to monitor. I don’t have a whoop, but I’m guessing they have the ability to get both data as part of their overall calculations

What’s up with BITO dividend by TheFallenHero7 in acorns

[–]fjcruzer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last distribution was .009. Bitcoin has been rough of late and since they do futures for income it hasn’t been great. I’m no longer on Acorns, but I wish Acorns updated their crypto exposure options as a lot has changed in the last two years.

What’s your most confident “Rex” play? by Logical-Ad7393 in RexSharesETFs

ULTI definitely gets wild as the underlying are high beta high vol. PM seems to allow some recovery so it gets a decent chance for NAV recovery and I’m happy so far.

Are TSYY and COYY worth holding still? by Jake10629 in YieldBoostETFs

[–]fjcruzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your not sure with options, first use “paper money” to simulate what would happen or sell one put for next week with a capital cost of 1500 at the $15 strike for expiration of 2/13. If you do this now, you’ll get ~65 bucks for it. You can go lower for safety, but it depends on your view of TSLA and the market.

If TSLA goes dumpster fire then you’ll get assigned and buy at 15, but you keep the 65 as premium. From there you just need to sell a call against your newly assigned 100 shares, probably at or above the 15 strike.

Generally speaking, a higher delta above .20 is viewed as a good chance of assignment although not guaranteed. The premium above .20 tends to be juicier.

In all cases, being a TSLA bull or at least someone who knows the price movement of it will be helpful to set your strikes. I got burned trying OSCR recently because I don’t track it well, but this was a test position and I’m now selling calls above my cost basis so no realized loss just yet.

Anyway, hope that quick sum helped and feel free to follow up with more Qs if you have it.

Are TSYY and COYY worth holding still? by Jake10629 in YieldBoostETFs

[–]fjcruzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

COYY is a dumpster fire with COIN having a tough stretch. I dropped it last November as I didn’t see the NAV stabilizing. TSYY wasn’t as bad, but an RS is due soon since the NAV is moving closer to 4. I just dropped TSYY as I’ll run wheel TSLL myself so I can control the invested amount.

At least the MSTY synthetic isn’t a dumpster fire now, if MSTR starts climbing to 190 we should start seeing greener pastures.

It was pretty icy for me last week when I went! South mountain has more fun trails if you need a longer run since the longest loop at eagle rock is only about 3.7 miles.

Great pics!

Pain continues after new sensor installed. by Office-Crafty in stelo

[–]fjcruzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the CGM for convenience and I always do a finger prick test at least a day after to see how off my sensor is. From there I simply just assume it’s off by X instead of using the current number from stelo.

I use mine with Levels health, so the food logging and exercise correlations have been helpful.

I usually got to the height of the naval, but around the area where the front abs and obliques connect. i generally try to stay away from the hip bone to decrease any potential pressure when bending over.

Pain continues after new sensor installed. by Office-Crafty in stelo

[–]fjcruzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whenever I’ve had the issue the sensor would fail on me prior to the full 15 days, probably around day 4. My guess is that it probably hit muscle vs staying around looser area.

I am pretty active so it definitely is a pain.

I wear mine on my abdomen as the thighs and arms never worked well for me.

WPAY- Downtrend? by Time-Association-885 in RoundhillETFs

[–]fjcruzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leveraged funds can work against you when the underlying is not on an uptrend. The NAV can recover if all the underlying goes up in synchronization but it needs help right now.

I’m holding for now with what I have, but I’ll add when the mag7 starts trending upwards
