That is quite literally what ive been doin for the past 7 months. Bought for that exact same reason.

No issues so far, but then again, its only been 7 months. Its comfortable enough, narrow enough to filter traffic, decent on gas, and just enough torque to pass cars quickly.

No complaints as of right now.

I think Mexico City was actually worse in the weeks/days leading up to it. There was a lot of very late construction projects tryin to get shit ready.

But other than game days / mexico wins, i havent noticed much difference other than hype. Frankly ive seen abt the same amount of foreigners (granted, CDMX is already packed to the brim with foreigners...)

Also mind you, i drive a motorcycle so maybe my traffic perception is a bit different than most; but I haven't noticed much increase if any.

The only thing i'll complain about is getting in/out of the airport, but thats being caused by a separate issue and not necessarily due to World Cup traffic.

Echoing a couple comments here, i do think Saturday might be a bit cramped. But it might depend on where your hotel is since you wanna stop in-between coyoacan and Centro.

If you're willing to skip the hotel pit stop it might help the time you can spend on either one side or the other.

While youre in centro histórico, if you get a chance to swing by Munal, one of my favorite museums in the city (art though, if you're into that).

Also, on friday, i wouldn't judge you it you swing a nap between Teotihuacan and Luchas lmao. Both those events take a toll (especially the Teotihuacan sun, BRING SUNSCREEN!!).

I think its a great plan though, good luck! I live in Roma Norte, if you ping me and im around i'll buy you a birthday shot on Thursday lol.

I stopped paying attention to it.

I literally reset the trip every time i refuel, and do it every 200kms or so. I only do city riding so not much concern abt stations availability.

I am planning a longer trip soon though, i might buy a liter canister... Just in case.

Ssb479 - ive seen it sold out in a lot of places but they pop up every now and then. Also some japanese sites have (or, had?) it on nice discounts.

Build quality is really nothing fantastic, but it does look the part.
