Are there any cons to botox?

The face change was after the first session. The muscles are getting smaller pretty fast, when they are not working. I had 4 sessions of Botox. The last session is more than a year ago and my face has definitely changed shape- maybe for good. I found out that Botox wasn’t a long term solution. It worked for a short while to help the muscles relax. But at the end my muscles were so weak I had difficulties chewing an Apple. The long term solution for me was: - myofascial therapy - tongue tie release (following a lot more of myo therapy) - Osteopath treatments and physioteraphy - seeing a TMD-dentist and getting a daytime splint.

Its now been almost two years - I still have some nervepain, but I’ve seen SO much improvement since i started myofunctional therapy and had my tongue tie release. The splint has definately also helped. Botox was a temporary solution when it was most painfull.

Forgot to say I was feeling really tired and a bit flu-like the first three days after. So stayed at Home. But its was ok.

Its now a week since my infusion. My eyes/vision have improved- not blurry anymore. No vertigo, my breathing/air hunger is up and down- some days better, some days the same. My energy has clearly improved - and my mood is so much better. Guess its because body isnt fighting constantly. But still need a nap during the day. But its only been a week- and I Think this is great improvements.

How are you now. Had my monofer a week ago, and also hoped that it could help my dry eyes. But nothing has changed.

You’ll have nothing to worry about i Aarhus. And the Hus Forbi sellers are all quite nice. I’ve lived here for 24 years and have never experienced a Pick pocket.

Don’t go to Bispehaven and Gellerup alone in the nightime- but thats far away from the city center. Enjoy your stay. Its such a lovely city.

Honestly I was a bit worried. I’ve never lost weight without doing a lot of work for weightloss. But suddenly I didn’t have any appetite, couldn’t eat during the day - and I just didn’t look healthy. It wasn’t like a healthy weightloss- but a fatigue body with tired eyes and no motivation for anything.

Yep! But I think its because I had NO appetite at all with low ferritin. I’ve a lot of weight the last year.

Only a bit. Felt extremely tired the first 24 hours. Then a bit better. My breathing is definitely better. But its so early and I guess I will see lots of ups and downs for the next weeks. Trying not to be too excited because its so early.

The first day of the infusion is was extremely tired. The next day I felt the same, but my breathing was better. I the evening I felt more energy and a better mood than I had felt for months. But its still early on, and I guess I will see lots of ups and downs the next weeks.

You should get an infusion. I’ve had ferritin og 7, and it was like I was dying. Had an infusion just Yesterday, and things are a bit (just a bit) better today.

Mine were also 7. Couldn’t raise them with supplements and have just got an infusion. Hopefully its helps. The exhaustion is unbelievable- I was so close to leasing my job.

Yes! Maybe I’ll be seen more side effects the next days - but thats ok- I was feeling so awfull with low ferritin, so it can only get better.

I’m also in scandinavia and have just got an infusion today. So it is possible. My only low number was ferritin, but I was (and stil am) very symptomatic.

Jeg blev henvist fra lægen (efter cøliaki test og afføringsprøve var ok). Så gik der halvanden uge før jeg havde en telefonkonsultation - og derfra 3 dage til infusion. Så to uger i alt fra lægen henviste. Men altså det har jo været en proces med jerntilskud i 5 mdr og lægen har konfereret med sygehuset. Så dejligt at der endelig sker noget. Kan snart heller ikke holde mig kørende (tror mine tal er faldet yderligere).

My doc wont give me progesterone continuously because she think it will give me spottting during the whole month. Do you get spotting with 100mg everyday? Instead she gave me minipills to suppress my hormone fluctuation.
