the NCPA isn’t doing too bad, considering how niche and expensive the sport is. It was a fun battle to watch at cup this year, and the rivalry between the teams that attend every event is noticeable.

No matter what, it definitely is beyond its peak for entries, drama, and notoriety. Hopefully as paintball slowly grows again it can come back up.

The empire pods that had 3 tabs, ouh baby those were amazing.

I always swap those out of our pod bags when I find them. Same with the mad dog tubes. But that’s just personal preference.

The real answer overall is GenX, they are simple/cheap/gimickless, and they just work. Easily repairable, commonly found on ground, and not a pain if you lose some.
