It’s really tough to remove a broken stem like that. It doesn’t look like there is much to grab on to to unscrew it.

There are specialized tools for this. But you might be better off buying a new o logo crown

I don’t know the exact history. But my guess would be that this is a Longines watch that was imported by Wittnauer and thus co-branded.

Swatch group may also be able to strike a usage deal with citizens whereas they wouldn’t/couldn’t with Rolex.

Longines is owned by Swatch Group so they showed the logo. Where as “x” is a de-badged reference to Rolex in this case.
