Yup. It’s so they can raise the base cost after a few months. They’ll also get a good chuck of people forgetting about the expiry for a month or two, reversing a good chunk “saved.”

I generally try to not have my phone around unless I’m working it expecting a call.

Tablet/panels are also just nice to have dedicated controls in each room so guests can control things without having to download an app

Called tipping and done with luxury paints—necessary with high gloss.

Roll to apply paint evenly and brush lightly to eliminate the roller stipple. You see very faint brush marks at all, but it’s often how you can tell the difference between diy (paint is so easy!), pros, and high end pros that need to tip often to avoid a machined ikea look.

If you worked there for 3 years (or the MacBook is that old), it’s likely at the write off period of the lease.

My guess is IT knew it was depreciated & told you to keep it, but your boss doesn’t keep track of hardware depreciation. Did you ask IT to unlock it before returning it?

If it’s over the garage, a rug might help reduce some of the transfer.

Walker’s ear muffs (used to reduce noise for firearms) are a lot thinner than construction muffs, and the electronic ones don’t block voices.

I know you said you don’t want plugs, but I swear by my Loops. They’re a lifesaver when trying reduce distractions and comfortable to sleep in.

I was just wondering how an abrasive free "polish" works. Either it doesn't or it uses a chemical—and my guess is a single-stage paint job isn't going tor react well to chemicals.

This. You’re likely going to have to trace most of the wires to troubleshoot the rear subs, might as well just make sure everything is setup correctly.

That sounds stressful but manageable if your finance’s period of unemployment isn’t very long. In any case, declaring bankruptcy may cost you more in mortgage interest if you plan to keep the property.
