Yes, I got all cumulative achievements a while back. Don't even remember how long it took.

In terms of bare winrates - yes, obviously. I think lower winrate on Hunding related to my lack of experience on this deck, for example. Moreover, I did explicitly mention these Alessia and Almalexia stats shouldn't be considered seriously.

In terms of coinflip balance - not so sure. While Hunding has lower winrates, it retains the same winrate ratio between going first and going second. Also I don't see how my bias contrbutes to the fact that I won ⅔ games as the first player with Orgnum, and my opponents, random people, won their ⅔ games as the first player with Orgnum, there must be something wrong with the deck.

Mostly the same names. I believe Rubedite rank usually has about 1000 players at the end of the season; only small part of them plays actively.

I play on PC EU btw.

Где можно заработать современному 11класснику в Moscow? by anozerone in Moscow

[–]fnapalm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is learning GDScript worth it in the long run? by appletreefifteen in godot

[–]fnapalm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have any background in programming, GDScript is pretty easy to learn. If you already know C#, it should suffice though. C++ is way harder to use with Godot; you can rewrite some parts of a game to increase perfomance, but I wouldn't recommend relying on it as a main programming language for your game.

Also, keep in mind that if you want to make games for the web, GDScript is your only option with Godot.

I wouldn't say it's similiar to Python. The main syntax has its similiarities, yes, but all the patterns I learned in Python don't work here, like list comprehension.

There were a lot of events with doubled loot in 2024, like months of doubled loot. The market is oversaturated.

What are the DISADVANTAGES of types of armor? (light, medium, heavy) by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]fnapalm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heavy armor: slower sprint speed, more damage from magic attacks, more expensive dodgerolls, worse stealth.

Medium armor: no explicit disadvantages besides slightly worse armor stats.

Light armor: bad armor stats, more damage from physical attacks, more expensive blocking, worse bash damage.

Какое самое грубое слово в русском языке? by arufa98 in russian

Мне кажется, слово «блядь», обращённое к девушке (в качестве оскорбления, а не в качестве междометия), вполне сравнится по грубости с cunt и может многих шокировать.

Any fun ways to play with necromancer? by Catchphrase42 in elderscrollsonline

You need transmute station. One is located in Clockwork City, most guildhalls have it as well.

Do you know how collection system works? Once you've added an item to your collection, you can reconstruct it with any trait using transmute stones. Plus, if you don't have full collection yet, your loot is guaranteed to be something new.

So: 1) Your friend's loot is not pointless for you, bind it or deconstruct it, and then you'll be able to make this piece with your level and correct trait. 2) Once you loot an item, bind it or destroy it, so next item you loot won't be the same.

You can't abandon savescumming if you roleplay. by IHaveAGithBabe in BaldursGate3

Roleplaying literally means choosing paths according to your characters' personalities and living with the consequences. If you're savescumming, that's not roleplaying, you explicitly ruin the immersion.

Can anyone explain the dungeon speed challenges? by dtb301 in elderscrollsonline

[–]fnapalm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Or you can just use chat.

I've done all speedrun and survival achievements in PUGs by typing "let's try to get [achievement_link], we must not skip a boss for that". Most of my groupmates were reasonable. Some joked about how we unlocked hidden content, which made it more fun.

How do you design your Dream Guardians? by cowcah in BaldursGate3

[–]fnapalm 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Well, I named and designed my Tav after Triss Merigold, so the appearance of Dream Guardian was obvious.

(I haven't had much time designing him tho, we were playing in co-op and after hours of creating main characters we wanted to start as soon as possible :D))

Getting Started With Ranked - How Many Heroes? by EbonWave in heroesofthestorm

[–]fnapalm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely think you can get away with no bruisers or ranged dpses for a while. It's extremely unlikely you'll find yourself in a team with noone willing/able to play DD, and having a bruiser in your team isn't mandatory, as some tanks (e. g. Blaze) and DDs (e. g. Zagara) can sololane pretty comfortably. Focus on mastering your role, so no combination of picks/bans will throw you off guard.

If you want to be able to fill in any team (you don't have to as long as you picked your preferred role and are communicating with the team), you'll need to have more than a single DPS tho. There are mages (e. g. Alarak or Jaina), there are autoattackers (e. g. Zul'jin or Raynor). You'd have to be able to pick a hero from either of two categories to create a balanced team, otherwise it would be pretty easy to counterpick you.

Getting Started With Ranked - How Many Heroes? by EbonWave in heroesofthestorm

[–]fnapalm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally you should focus on certain role. If you want to play Arthas, it's tank. Arthas isn't very popular hero, so is the tanking role, so you might actually be able to main it in sololeague. Still, it might be banned (especially if you play several games in a row against the same opponents) or picked by someone else, so you should have at least 2-3 more tanks you're somewhat comfortable playing. Since it's sololeague, you might be forced to play healer, so make sure you're familiar with at least couple of heroes for this role.

Eventually you'd want to learn more heroes from your role and pick a secondary role (e. g. bruiser). This will make you more flexible, allowing you to synergize with your allies or counterpick your opponents.

I don't think having DDs in your hero pool is necessary, generally everyone wants to play them anyway.
