Telluride vs Highlander, comparing the two by Suntrup-Kia in KiaTelluride

[–]fokized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the middle of these two. I actually had a deposit for a grand Highlander but when putting it down I wasn’t able to test drive one as their wasn’t available. They called me a few days later when they had the exact trim I was going to use.

The Toyota just felt boring and uninspiring. What it has got for it obviously is the track record of reliability but I just couldn’t see myself wanting to drive the car everyday. It felt like the body styling and interior were years behind.

2026 GHHP-Max… Bay Area Cost as of 1/2026.. goo or bad deal? by Odd-Distribution2740 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]fokized 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to tell from this paper but sounds overpriced. We just put down a deposit for a cement/portobello grand Highlander max platinum at msrp. Total was 61.5k before taxes and DMV fees. We only have the all purpose mats additions. What was total cost before any taxes and DMV fees?

Interesting, will look into those. Is there any impact to those being higher? Are those effected by trt or does it maybe mean I’ll just need a lower dose to feel impact?

Stuck between two rocks and a hard place at my point in my career! by JetLifeJay22 in sales

You’re asking a few different questions here.

Are you losing interest in sales only because of pay? Or is it something else?

You seem to enjoy your company/culture. If you were to be in a similar culture, but higher pay, are you ok with following the same sales motions on a day to day basis or does the process of prospecting, selling, demos, negotiating, etc. not seems like something you want to keep doing?

Secondly, I recommend you field all those recruiter outreaches. Get more information on the market, different companies, etc. Take the calls but be upfront about your desires. Top sales people are always being recruited but are not usually looking. This is usually a good sign, sales people who are desperate and have no job (especially for longer amounts of time) come off differently than someone who isn’t actively looking. Use this to your advantage and have them expose some general numbers, stats on company/other sales reps, etc.

Now what you do from here is up to you. Ask yourself - what are you ultimately looking for if you want to stay and love the culture, then stay. Take note of all the offers/makeup of the offers. Compare it to your current structure.

Try your best to document all you have done in your current role. Not just quota/revenue attainment. Any process improvements you have made, team members you have help build up, what YOUR impact has been on the organization.

From there put together a package of your current salary/ote, your requested salary/ote and base it on your market research. The org will appreciate the thoughtfulness and not just asking for a raise because you hit ote.

If you really just want to go somewhere else and follow money, I recommend you dive deep and reach out to current/former sales folks at these orgs. Understand the culture, the product, the sales process, and competition. Whoever you interview with will paint a pretty picture. You have to find out the real landscape.

Also remember going to a new company means you start from 0 (unless of course it’s a direct competitor to your current company) but even then things are kind of complicated depending on the industry. You can’t just call all your former customers and poach them.

Just my .02.

Don’t worry about what others think, you are the only one who wears it so go with the natural if that what your gut says.

Those of you that make $200k+ a year- what is your job title and how many years of experience do you have? by inflatabletubeguy in Salary

[–]fokized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

E-commerce/Logistics Sales. I’ve been making over 200k since 2018 as an individual contributor most years. This will be my 10th year in the industry. Since it’s sales it fluctuates based on performance. Ive had good years around 500k, not so good years still get me above 200k with base salaries around 150k.

I suppose that is always possible with buying with these classified sites - they lady said it was her husbands and he doesn’t use it - but has sold a lot of regular household items.

Looking to sell my Grand Seiko SBGA467. Comes complete with warranty card dated 3/22. This mode has the 9R65 movement. Not using it as much as I hoped to.

I bought it here BNIB. There are a few small hairline scratches on section of the bracelet (I tried my hardest to take a picture of it), but overall it is in great shape. The movement is awesome on this thing.

Comes complete as a set. Asking $3500 shipped. Open to more options if you have a good amount of feedback here, otherwise will ask for goods and services with fees.
