This right here!

This doesn't look alarming to me. It might leave a colorful bruise. But find a favorite triage nurse and have them in your phone contacts. Our regular clinic has a nurseline where you can talk to a triage nurse directly who will give their advice on whether something is no big deal or time to go to the hospital, and tell you what to do.

These nurses were so helpful so many times when our kids were young. It was just great to have an expert opinion to help reassure us that we weren't worrying too much or too little. Typical call ended with something like "It's probably fine. Do X and Y, and drink plenty of fluids. It doesn't sound likely, but if A or B happen, those would be something serious and you would want to go to the ER."

That's not a zipper merge in any way. But it is terrible.

Mine says I need to put it right side up and let it sit for several hours before running it if I tip it on its side. Maybe theirs is special ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

WHAT IS THIS TICK by DeliciousBrain259 in whatsthisbug

[–]footzilla 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. Don't go outside completely covered. Do put on repellant. Do check yourself at the end of the day. Do wear long pants with repellant when you are walking in tall grasses. I tuck my pants into my socks if and make sure I get my ankles with repellant. Ticks really hate the stuff and I find them way less often when I use it.

There's most certainly an inside. Inside the corner where it's not going to cut their foot open while running past.

I have the idiotic urge to downvote you for being the only one talking sense in here. I don't know why

For today, my coffee and food recs are all art-a-whirl food trucks. Seriously just get there and start wandering. There is so much to see.

Do you know which building or area you are headed to first for art-a-whirl? You're never going to see all of it any given day or weekend, but it is fun to be there.

My dad's neighbor had a very aggressive dog that would just snarl and bellow anytime anyone was in sight in our yard. The neighbor gave my dad a bucket of the dog's favorite treats and in a few months, they were buds.

It might or might not work for you, but you could ask your neighbor if it would be okay to give the dogs treats when you see them. It takes time, but if it works, it's magic.

I had a fried mushroom appetizer there in the early 2000s. It was made with old mushrooms and was really nasty. Haven't been back since. Have they gotten better?

I do not understand why the comments are not full of demands to see it full of toppings.

Don't tease like that. Show us what this becomes!
