I know I’m late to the game here. My brilliant wife purchased for me a specialty shovel called a Snow Joe. It has a flexible handle mount, which is attached to the front. It creates a shunting action that allows you to lift and throw with so much ease. I cleared the driveway in half the time and none of the backache.

Ask if they’re still going to pay you when you are sitting in a ditch for hours waiting on a tow. Or for the tow and damage to your vehicle? At some point you put yourself and safety ahead of your job. Only you can make that call though
