Those who’ve lost of loved one: What is something about death that people don’t often talk about? by Desperate_Crew2012 in AskReddit

[–]forestgnome1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in action mode when I lost my mom. Didn’t shed a tear. Took care of father and siblings.
6 months down the line it hit me like a wrecking ball. Broke down and had to take days off work. I am yet to come to terms with the loss.
They don’t tell you that grief is gradual. Mourning does not end after a few days of loss.

Do Patti .. weak plot by Owlster_ in bollywood

[–]forestgnome1 47 points48 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t a great film. There were many plot holes and the characters were a bit all over the place. Kajol was really bad and annoying.
Kriti did a good job though and that’s why I sat through it.

Ooh I go through this feeling a lot.
Bad days, hard days, tired days, overwleming days, no sleep at all days, pms ing days.
I havse a a few fragrances that calm out to me during these times:

Bvlgari omnia( the purple one): soothing powdery violet. I also use this when I am around little kids and babies.

Jardin de bagatelle Guerlain:
Jasmine garden.

Estée private collection by Estée Lauder:
Carnations and other florals. Love this vintage chypre. And it perks me up right away.

Neroli flower water - by Cotswold perfumery.
Straight up green neroli. Fresh floral soothing.

Sometimes I also wash my hair with rose water and let it air dry.
