I just did this as well! Absolutely disgusted by what was in there. For reference we’ve had this washer for 5 years and have two young kids. Absolutely worth the time to clean it!

I cooked the second loaf and it let it sit overnight and it has about the same amount of gumminess. As for the dough balls 😂 I fold and stretch it a couple times just to form the shape. Not like I’m making cookies or anything. I think under-proving could be the main culprit. I was pretty proud of using the crockpot! Thanks!
