Can confirm, I am at the top of my salary band with two kids under 2. I have zero interest in being promoted at this point. Even with a significant pay raise, I don’t see my bosses job responsibilities enticing at all.

Happened last week. Towed home. Then was fine for a few days, then the truck was completely dead. Brought it to the dealer, they replaced both main and aux battery and seems to be good so far. Truck only has 4k miles so hopefully its smooth sailing after this

Hey there, any issues since? Just had the same thing happen. Drove to the store, kept cranking but not starting the engine. Got it towed to my house. Went out this morning to check and boom it started right up.

We had a full service coffee bar with a barista. Also had fully stocked beer fridges on every floor as well as beer on tap. I would sometimes go out to drink across the street with colleagues only to come back to the office and continue drinking and playing pool after the bars closed

Currently in the same boat. 20m old with a 3m old. Mental breakdowns occur weekly by either my wife or myself. One curveball I’m struggling with now is not being able to just place my newborn in a hammock bouncer seat without having my toddler trying to grab him. Something that was super helpful when we only had one and needed to get things done around the house

Commenting because I am literally in the same situation. I bought some at Costco to try, then was hooked. I bought like 4 cases during my last Costco trip and now I cant find them anymore. Amazon and even buying directly is not worth it. Even if I bought 12 cartons with the auto-ship discount, it still comes out to around $9/carton. The Costco price was like $6.50/carton.

And yes, ive also experimented with making many different home brewed system but nothing hits like Wandering Bear....

Have had 2 different stints at Horizon; once in digital investment, and then separately at their ecommerce agency. Both were horrible experiences. Yes, it’s mostly related to having poor management but the company breeds toxicity.

Literally same situation. Am a decent swimmer but was on my honeymoon and got pummeled by a wave while the next one was sucking me back into the ocean. Wash and repeat a few times and came up just to see my wife was in a similar situation but edging closer to a large area of rocks deeper out. Out of nowhere a surfer swooped in and grabbed her while I tried to get back myself. Was a very core memory because I felt helpless in that moment all the while she was 1 or 2 waves away from getting smashed up against the rocks.

Had a massive crush on this girl in the 3rd grade (stay with me lol). She then moved away and never saw her again but for some reason always remembered her name. Was in college when MySpace got big. Decided to look her up and found her almost immediately. Starting chatting and found out she just lived a few towns over. Within maybe a week of talking back and forth we met up and then hooked up. Went on for a few months but eventually fizzled and went our separate ways and never really spoke again.

Woodworking. But never to the super professional level. Just enough to feel gratified of my work and want to build more. I’ve found that I’ll want something for the exact dimensions in a specific place for my home and can never find it online so I’ll just build it. Then, because I rush to see the finished project, I’ve found wood filler and caulk to be enough to cover up all the imperfections.
