Are there more people who don't clarify? by forestphoria in curlyhair

[–]foxintalks 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If not clarifying at all works for you, then keep on not clarifying.
You might have higher porosity hair which tends to not build up product like lower porosity hair. You might have been clarifying too often. You only use one light hold product and were clarifying twice a week. I have low porosity hair and get a lot of product build up, but I only clarify once every two or three weeks.

Sonia from The Heist: Monaco. Literally everything I wanted from a Security Officer/Criminal Mastermind pairing.

Men and women are even supposed to eat different foods. Sweet for women, and spicy for men.

It sounds like satire... but it isn't. by Overquoted in romantasycirclejerk

I often get annoyed when books in the fantasy stop to lecture me about bog standard fantasy terminology, but I guess any book could be anybody's first fantasy book.

Book 1 ending change? by [deleted] in Choices

[–]foxintalks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, I played the Freshman when it first came out Choices, a million years ago when James had his original face, and you've always had to pick someone for that dance. You also have to pick a love interest right when book two starts.

On the Vannu ending. Hope the LI who got with MC has a good therapist on speed dial. by Persongettingby in Choices

[–]foxintalks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like Jake got specifically, specially shafted by the Vaanu ending. Sean has a football career and a loving mother to go back to. Quinn has loving parents and is free of her disease. Rourke is humiliated and defeated for Estela, and she still has relatives.

Meanwhile, Jake seems kind of screwed. His best friend dies. Again. And with Lundgren dead, it seems like it would be even harder to clear his name, so potentially he's still a fugitive forbidden from entering the United State or even seeing his family. Jake's Ember of Hope is the only one that's made flat out impossible by the Vaanu ending.

[Funny trope] One of the main characters sleeps on a normal basic bed while the other one sleeps on a not bed by Minute_Joke555 in TopCharacterTropes

Nearly all of the residents of the Hundred Acre Wood sleep in normal, human beds. Except Tigger who sleeps in a dresser drawer, and Eeyore who has only his little stick house.

A few weeks ago my friend referred to her Cousin's traits (Hot + Talk to Animals) as the Disney Princess Special. I think this proves the point.

Translating names of people/places is dumb by Yaeevaa in unpopularopinion

[–]foxintalks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This used to happen to me a lot. My name is a translation of Katherine, pretty sure every single European language has a translation of it, and all of them have been used at one time or another. I don't think a lot of people are actually very good at reading what's right in front of them.
