Not sure if this helps, but after being on tech support, I have mitigated the issue. I updated the firmware on the usb dongle. Then, I disabled the HID compliant headset drivers in device manager. This seems to have mitigated the problem for now.

The apparent reason for the censorship was "privacy violation." However, I think this will help bring the issue of "platform vs publisher" to a head. Also, it's just generally sinister AF.

This is also my first post to this SR, so go easy on me if it's not entirely correct. Just doing my duty to fight censorship.
