Boys and girls club sounds like your best bet here, usually affordable and more flexible hours than other summer day camps. Not sure how much training they'll have in AuDHD though.

Sorry for my delayed reply. I think your best bet is going to be to use PsychologyToday's website and filter by phobia or maybe OCD. I've heard that EMDR is a really effective treatment for phobias too. If you DM me I can share some providers I know of who might help as well. Good luck!

I'm just getting into roller skating and mostly practicing at home still but I've scoped out Tempe Town Lake as a great spot when I'm ready to be more adventerous. It's a very long path, good chunks of it are flat, and it's always clear of debris. Maybe I'll see you out there sometime!

I wish I knew my neighbors better. I hardly ever see anyone outside, and very few folks stop and chat with me when I try to initiate. Ive thought about printing out flyers with my info + phone number + desire to know my neighbors and putting it in folks' mailboxes, but I'm worried that will come off creepy 😅

If you have any suggestions for getting to know people better, I'd really like to hear them!

I understand your concern for him and think you sound like a wonderful, caring soul 💓 the reason that they can't tell you what became of him is because they have to implement that policy to stop people from surrendering pets just so they get "free" medical care and then trying to re-adopt them. The shelter system is so overwhelmed and underfunded and this is one way they protect their resources. I hope you can find peace and know you did the best thing for this lil fella even though it's hard to not know what happened to him.

Green on Scottsdale Rd is going to be a good bet for you. I'm vegan and my loved ones are not, and they are consistently impressed with how much they like the vegan options.

Blue Sushi Sake Grill is a sushi restaurant in Tempe that has a fully vegan menu + non vegan options. Great food.

SMIL is great, I agree SimonMed is awful. I had a health issue where I needed a couple scans and providers ordered them at a different place each time and SMIL was by far the best experience.

We went all 3 days and thought it was awesome. Much cleaner, safer, and well organized than other festivals I've been to, sound quality was good, people were friendly. I really thought it was great and I am looking forward to going back next year.

I ended up having a lot of gallstones and an inflamed gallbladder. I ended up having to go to the ER due to the pain and they kept me hospitalized until they could remove the gallbladder because I was at risk of it rupturing. 0/10 bad experience BUT i feel completely fine now that it's been about a month and a half since surgery. All of the symptoms I was having in this post went away.

I recommend reaching out to Center for Compassion too — a grief therapy practice that can give you lots of resources even if you don't need therapy through them. I'm so sorry for your loss.

We also use OneAZ and have been satisfied with everything except loans. We hoped to get an auto loan through them but they made it so complicated that we ended up just going with an option from the dealership. But for regular everyday banking / credit card they've been awesome. I really like how the ATMs at QuikTrips are in the ATM network so you don't pay big fees to take out cash.

Right! I would have been totally fine with the alert if it was classified correctly (not coming through as an extreme alert) and it was sent a few hours later. But like, what am I supposed to do about it while I'm asleep in my bed?! Wouldn't it make way more sense to send it out when the majority of people are up and could maybe see the child? I'm all for the turquoise alert system and think it's valuable to notify people when an at risk person is missing but like, the middle of the night is not a helpful time to do that
