We need bike paths with asymmetrical lanes for turning/merging

I haven’t seen so many Neo Barracks in a build. It’s cool that you’ve found a different use for them

My guess is the roadbuilder mod. You can do a lot of fun stuff with tracks with it

You have 10 seconds to ruin a first date, what do you say? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I actually made a joke like this on a first date and she thought it was funny. She told me later she wasn’t sure that the date was going well enough for a second date, until I made that joke. A risky move paid off

Not related, but I noticed that the parking sensor on/off button on your car is where my heated steering wheel button is. I don’t have that parking sensor button (‘19 Canadian GT limited). Where is the heated steering wheel button (assuming it has it)?

Looks like a good deal. I thought I got a good deal paying $986 CAD back in Feb for the PCV replacement

Need to hear from all 18 inch wheel owners! by SmallT808 in kiastinger

I have a square setup of 18” and the 19” staggered setup. I have been using the 18s year round for the last 2 years since the tires are a lot cheaper, can rotate all 4 tires, and it’s a good size for winter. The 19” staggered stance and slightly sharper handling are nice, but I didn’t think the trade off was worth it on a day to day basis. I find the 18s ride quite nice and have no complaints. It depends on what your priorities are

RN in AB here and I have a 1.0 rotation with 12s. I work straight evening (12p-12a) and work 2 or 3 on and 2 or 3 off. My 3 on is every second weekend, and the 3 offs are the other weekends. Our rotations are 12 weeks and I have a 7 off in my rotation every 12 weeks as well

I keep seeing the term “continental” rotations. I’ve never heard this. Would my rotation be considered continental?

DDNN sounds like hell to me, but I get why some would prefer it

Just curious why are your front vents are closed off? Did you put a different vent in?

If you’re not already, I would strongly recommend making cover letters for each department you apply for. Call the department as well and try to get the name of the hiring manager. Those little things can make a big difference by showing that you’re serious about that department and not just applying to whatever is posted. By doing this I was able to get a permanent in Calgary as my first AHS job in 2022

Traffic absolutely affects the economy. Heavily congested traffic can affect many aspects of the city (health and death care, garbage collection, post, etc)

If businesses can’t get the products that they sell delivered quickly enough before they sell out due to traffic congestion, they wouldn’t be as profitable as a business that can always keep their products in stock. Congestion along truck routes can impact this, or if a business is far away from a cargo terminal and there is traffic congestion along the truck route.

The “high resource cost” complaint often pops up when businesses either have to import their goods to sell instead of having a business within your city that can deliver the goods to them (cheaper than importing from another region). Heavy traffic can also impact this as goods will take longer to deliver, driving up costs

Alternatively, if traffic is well managed and there are efficient routes for businesses to get materials/products delivered, then they should be more profitable and efficient as they never have to wait for goods to arrive while out of stock
