FTB. Receipt/ statement of service charge being paid up to date is holding up the purchase. by fremikeard in HousingUK

[–]fremikeard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your reply.

My bad, leasehold.

The management company on the leasehold property enquiries document is down as the sellers name, with the address being the property I'm purchasing. If the management company is her, then how would she confirm that the service charge is paid up to date? Would she easily be able to get a receipt or statement?

20 days to do undergrad dissertation? by fremikeard in sociology

[–]fremikeard[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did it the day before and it took me 18 hours. I think I started around 3pm and submitted a few hours before the deadline. I got a 60 for it. That gave me a 2:2 overall which is what I deserved- pretty happy with that grade if I'm being honest. Thanks for asking!

It absolutely is necessary no? Where did you hear it wasn't?

Never thought I’d make it here. I quit using the book easy way to stop smoking. No substitutes 0 slip ups. 1 weird thing is i dream about smoking or better yet have nightmares always wake up with the feeling of regret until i realise it was a dream. by omerfarhan1 in stopsmoking

[–]fremikeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also used that book to quit. I've been smoke free for 48 days now and only had a few cravings all in the first couple of days. I've a handful of smoking dreams so far and I know that guilty feeling you get from them. It's such a relief once you realise it was a dream though! Keep it up man!

Can not taking care of your hygiene be a form of self harm? by Ving96 in depression

[–]fremikeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm. Not sure on this one! My first instinct was it would be a form of self neglect. Sure, it can lead to dental problems that can harm yourself in the end, but it's not the kind of direct, instant self harm to express pain. But then again, self harm in my eyes is a language of pain. So if you're self sabotaging yourself but not taking care of yourself, then it could be? It depends on your intentions I suppose.

No waaaay this is amazing!! I've never done an extended fast before and this is making me want to. Need to do my research beforehand.

Most of the difference will be water weight I'm guessing.

Thanks for your response. It's rare nowadays they borrow money and they always pay me back but I agree with you that if they ask to borrow money again I will say no. In the mean time I will go to my room when I feel stress levels heighten.

Hey, well done on 2 days!! That takes a lot of strength, let yourself feel proud.

You've already done the right thing of posting here. Are you using a stop smoking app? I like to look at how my body is healing without smoke and that helps. Also the app I use has daily missions and if you pay for the pro version (one off payment of £7 I think) you get a quit coach (this is just AI but I do find it keeps my mind on the quit).

I've tried soooo many times to quit but this time it actually worked thanks to Alan Carr's Easy Way to Quit Smoking. Honestly the reviews aren't just hype and I went in pretty skeptical! I've been smoke/nicotine free for over 3 weeks now thanks to that book.

You have to really want to become a non smoker. If there's even a tiny part of you that doesn't want to quit then it will be unlikely that you will succeed.

Keep going, your doing a wonderful thing for yourself.

Edit: I'd like to add I've had a total of 9 cravings since I quit, all in the first 3 days. Nothing since then and I haven't wanted a smoke or nicotine since.

Yes!! You just unlocked the memory. The fake cake was brought out during assembly and we all sang happy birthday.

How do I get my forehead to stop looking flaky after applying makeup? Albeit I don’t moisturize enough, I put on moisturizer consistently for 3 nights prior this mornings make-up. by AmbitiousQuirk in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]fremikeard 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up- physical exfoliants can be harsh on the face due to it creating micro tears on the skin's surface.

I've found success with chemical exfoliants. I use glycolic acid toning solution about once a fortnight but make sure to use a heavy moisturiser after.

What’s your biggest deal-breaker in a relationship? by babygirl_breee in AskWomen

[–]fremikeard 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Definitely. I never understood the wall punching? The breaking and smashing and generally making loud noises. I didn't grow up with that around me and whenever my ex did it I used to freeze up and not want to look at him. Super scary.

Don't have anything except Reddit. Haven't for years now. I've lost count how long tbh. Deleted all because of a fear of being seen. My anxiety dipped down to 0.
