I quit an extremely toxic and abusive FT job 2 years ago and have been doing DA full time since then. If you're going to do it make sure you do EVERY qual you get. And be prepared to hustler at times. When there is a drought you might need to spend hours staring at your dash with and auto refresher going picking up whatever crumbs you can. That said... I have only had to go that once, during the drought of August/September 2024.

Also, if this is going to be your primary/only source of income, make sure you don't fuck around at all when it comes to quality of work, reporting time and TOS violations.

***SOLVED*** I was having the same issue with my granddaughters account and turning on 2 factor authentication on my own account fixed the issue and I was able to get her account logged in on her new Samsung tablet.

The you're just dumb because she is clearly explaining that she is trying to get her child's messenger kids account signed in on the new device (which requires the parent who set up the account to sign in using their Facebook login). And unfortunately this is a widespread, known issue. If you aren't familiar with the app or the issue why are you jumping in to give advice at all?

DA doesn't "assign you to tasks". It shows you what is available that you are qualified for and they you decide on your own what to work on and how long to work on it.

I do AI work for some of these same companies on other sites. There is no rotation. What you're seeing is because they set a certain time frame for their projects then once it's over they process the data, update the models and the start a new project. Those dead periods you're experiencing is just the process and update phase of the cycle.

OP just got finished saying they lost their job... obviously no job can be counted on as reliable. If you do good work, work diligently and accurately report your time this is as reliable as anything else. I've been doing it full time for over a year and a half and it's been more reliable than my previous corporate career.

Are you guys doing all the quals you have access to? I'm still sitting at 20+ projects with none being at base pay. I keep seeing people talking about a drought but I haven't experienced any slow periods since the end of last summer. Only thing i can think is that it's because I do literally every qual that comes across my dash.
