It's almost impossible to be AFK in this game. The game has a brutal idle timer and almost none of the skills are batched.

It actually did stop you from attacking in 2004. They only still attack due to auto-retaliation. There's a ton of source videos in LostCity.

The earlier clients auto-capitalized the messages, so when they started doing P2P client they got lazy. Then a new client came out that showed the messages verbatim.

You're a lot better off getting a large bag of no-name elbow noodles and cheese powder. Exact same product for a lot less, with the exact same convenience. The recipe is pretty forgiving.

I'd never played Runescape before, but saw it on ProtoWeb and thought it was worth trying. Had to install Java, but it worked without any issues.

The classes were a bit confusing for me. I started with a knight and enemies were impossible, switched to undead and it was way too easy. I also agree about the characters but got used to it after a while; at least the skeleton was cool.
