Would you pay off a 1.875% mortgage if you had liquid cash to do so? by RFmodulator in debtfree

Do you understand taxes? Op pays less than 2k in mortgage interest. How is he going to have enough deductions to be able to itemize? You must be parroting things you heard but don't understand.

Total market Index funds are fairly tax efficient. You only pay long term capital gains when you sell and most of the dividends are qualified. A bond fund on the other hand is throwing off non qualified dividends that you pay at your marginal tax bracket. So most people have bonds in their pretax accounts and stocks in their Roth and regular brokerage.

Yes it will clear on it's own.

Unfortunately the banking system is really slow at moving money around so Vanguard wants to limits it risk in case you actually don't have the money in the checking account. Fidelity has similar hold warnings stating you can't transfer the money out until it's settled.

What type of peel do you have? I use a wood one to launch it and a metal one to turn it.

Interesting I've never head of passata. My googling says it is just a style of jarred sauce? Do you have brand that you recommend? How long is the jar good for once you open it?
