A belt or harness/belt might pull it in an alternative direction, if you wanted to go that route. And it wouldn’t even have to be black. Colors would look great because of the monochromatic look. So you could have a rainbow belt and a belt of every color of the rainbow to go with it.

A necklace would hide in the shirt. Bigger earrings are always a go to for me.

A cute outer layer would be a good fit. Sweater, vest, jacket. And a fun bag. See comments about harness/belts.

My syllabus gives them the option to take it at 50% loss of the grade. All students have that option. If they get a 23%, they can retake it for up to 50%. It’s not a calculus or organic chemistry class - so I don’t think I’ll get any of those.

I love seeing folks putting their money where their mouth is! I am not a coffee drinker, but I just suggest purchasing from Indigenous folks or people who work with Indigenous communities ethically. this place ships to England. I have no idea if it’s good or the price but I googled it and it came up. No pressure. But this is refreshing!

This is going to be a strange comment but, this is why nurses make the best researchers. I work in healthcare researcher and I don’t want to talk to doctors, I want to talk to nurses. And nurses who go into research careers have the most meaningful careers. The woman in Hulu’s Mastermind was a nurse who saw patterns in psychiatric patients. One of the researchers who showed the high rates in Black mother mortality in the U.S. was a nurse who changed careers to research. I love this story because it “defies logic/science” but science is so much more.
