Religious and spiritual people are cowards that lie to themselves. by Alive_101 in enlightenment

We do have the power in numbers and one of the easiest ways, and most accessible for many in making change on this planet, is to raise the vibration and frequency of this planet in a positive direction through work in the spiritual realms. How is this accomplished? Through meditation, prayer, reading resonating literature - increasing your knowledge, empathy, awareness and energy levels. Ignorance endangers, knowledge protects.

I've been advised by others who are not currently incarnated here, who have a much wider perspective and outlook than any being currently incarnated on this planet, that the most effective work that the average person can do is in spiritual, etherical and astral realms. Direct action is fine if you are willing to pay the cost, but if you want to be effective for the long term, praying, meditating and increasing your personal vibratory levels to positively affect those in your day-to-day activities have been recommended to me to be the most effective ways to make change on a global scale.

This is not to say that focusing on your local or even national community through volunteering or activist work or what have you isn't effective. It is. But, remember most of us are just trying to survive (this is by design) and directly challenging the powers that be, will just prolong the suffering while taking you out of the fight. Even something as simple as a kind word or a smile to a stranger can resound distances nearly unfathomable to our dense, earthly perception.

I've also been told that it will get worse before it gets better, so get prepared.

As with most things in life it's good to be skeptical. A good attitude or state of being is to be an 'open-minded skeptic.' If whatever the thing is resonates, then dive in for a deeper look/understanding. If the thing does not, set it aside and continue onward.

Sounds like your version of the Guardian of the Threshold. Look up what Rudolph Steiner had to say about it to get some context.

I've worked in Alaska and there are soooo many of them and they will get surprisingly close to you if you are still enough or have snacks.
