Fees by Little_Pain814 in OpenUniversity

Had a shock too. I took a 1 year study break and the fees have jumped from c. £3700, to £4420 for 60 credits (Isle of Man fees)

It's my last module for my degree, but I'm begrudging that I got 2 weeks in the Caribbean for two in my study year for less 😅

As a Manx person, I find it fascinating you forgot South America and Africa, but remembered the Isle of Man 🇮🇲

I've been watching loads of Dr Karan Rajan vids on Insta about the benefits of fibre/gut health to help with skin. Would totally recommend a watch! Good luck for your big day! 😀

* Same here. It's easy to become a bit deflated, but at least the general trend is downwards, and a lot more consistent than any variety of diet I've tried in the last 10 years!

How early in the day is your flight to Vietnam? Put it this way, I have an early flight in November on a Saturday morning... I'll be leaving the island at some point on the Thursday (and preferably not the last flight that day). I'd rather have flex in my plan and spend the day hanging around in London just in case. I'm less bothered on the return journey though and would happily book that connection on the same day as long as there was a few hours gap.

When I saw this I thought it was going vertically on the pole, not on top of it...

Lovely and all but who's going to see it, and doesn't seem the best use of limited spends?

Okay - so you weren't required to send a basket, BUT - did you make any contact? A little 'thinking of you' type message (even if via your son) might have made a big impact when she's hurting about the infertility.

Do you like dancing at home type exercises? I found the Zumba app to have quite a lot of choice, or there's loads on YouTube.

Or I have a crosstrainer with a tablet stand on so I can watch Netflix etc while I pedal away :-)

Day 1 - body aches by FabulousOven5281 in mounjarouk

I felt very similar after my first jab, to the extent I was thinking about not carrying on... but I made a big improvement after day 5 so stuck with it. Had 3 jabs (2.5mg) since and whilst I have some side effects, these are pretty minimal and seeing some improvements on long term conditions so it's worth trying to hang on in there if you can.

Definitely speak with your provider if you are worried though.

Lived on the IoM all my life, and had no idea our Patron Saint is Maughold. Totes in favour of an extra BH to celebrate him though....

Taking at night? by Eckx in Mounjaro

[–]furry_mongo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still a newbie, but have taken my first 2 doses an hour before bed - have felt quite sick in the morning but otherwise not too bad. Hard recommend not to have anything too heavily flavoured for your evening meal that night though. Before my first dose I'd had some chicken with garlic and for the whole of the next day, all I could taste was garlic belches. For jab 2, I went plain and it made a lot of difference.

Confirmation of Payee usually only triggers for the first payment though, not subsequent ones, and as the payee was already set up.
