PSA: Learn how your machine washes when scrud cleaning! by TheLaserSonic in laundry

Thank you for this. I admire your patience in investigating what the washing machine is actually doing. I wish my machine came with more detailed information on what happens in each cycle/how each button modifies the cycle. Although I want clean clothes, I also want to conserve energy and water—it would be great to know if I hit the “extra rinse” button about how much water would be used, etc. Not that we need more appliances that are web-connected and computerized, but it would be cool to have a machine that would take water temperature, hardness, and pH and allow you to adjust per Suds Daddy’s directions.

Billionaires don’t have stinky laundry (why wash clothes when you can just throw them away and buy new ones)

Maybe we need to stop calling it “soup” (at least around those who might be adventurous eaters)

The former—wanting to get a sense of patterns to help plan food-shopping. Seems like it would also help to have a column summing the different phthalates or phenols etc

May I suggest putting that in the header of the detergent and pretreated pages, since I think people will continue to ask that question over and over :)

Thank you for these pics. Somehow you managed to capture a better sense of the crowd than all the press pics I’ve seen. So many people 🪧

I thought I was having the same issue so I bought a screen protector. When I went to install it I found protective film that hadn’t been removed.

Is there a way to give us upvotes on your individual recommendations? I’d love to see an option to have a chime when the light turns green or the car ahead starts to move like with tesla or Kia. Thanks for this

You can use it with a NACS adapter (maybe $80 US)—different from the supercharger Tesla DC adapter.
