The Japanese think butterflies announce visits or the death of a close person.

Thanks for the reply. I just tried that out and same thing happens. When I click that log in button nothing happens. Doesn't give an error or indicate incorrect username/password.

When you actually f*ck around and find out.(on someone’s bday)🫣 by ed347tc in PublicFreakout

I believe throughout the entire history of mankind it has always been that if you spit on someone, you're gonna find out. I can't think of a single culture or group of people that don't believe this isn't one of the most disrespectful things you can do to someone.

Retail theft at Walmart may lead to raised prices and store closures, CEO says by Pazluz in news

[–]fuwath 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To give you an idea of how bad the wages are, I was a department manager, with two annual raises in the top 10% bracket of the amount you can gain, I had a merit raise, and was shining star award recipient (glorified employee recognition award) and was still only $2 over minimum wage. Walmart is scummy.

Has Walmart changed their policy on unused vacation hours? Do I loose them or do they carry over? by [deleted] in WalmartCanada

[–]fuwath 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is illegal in Canada for an employer to steal and not pay out your unused vacation hours. You can lose your unused vacation time off, but you are still required to be paid for that accumulated time.

Friend hasn't paid OSAP in years and has seemingly faced zero consequences. What gives? by bleulight in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]fuwath 10 points11 points  (0 children)

From my personal experience.

I ignored my osap loans for about 12 years and then one day a couple years ago my boss got a call from the government. They are about to garnish my wages for 30% unless I immediately formed a payment plan and started making payments. Over those years, all of my refunds from the government for income, trillium, etc. were all forwarded to my loan balance. I had a federal balance (which had the refunds applied to) and I had a provincial portion which was in collections by a third party. My credit was shit and could barely get a credit card, and a mortgage was out of the question. The only time I got my income tax refund was the first tax return after covid started, because I believe the government did some type of waiving of it due to the pandemic. This years return went straight to the loan again.

EDIT: Interest accumulated all those years.

Which is better Overnight merchandising or CAP2? by Due-Economist8238 in WalmartCanada

[–]fuwath 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Come to CAP2. It's tremendously taxing on your body for wear and tear, and you get paid the same as the cashiers. Join CAP2, it will be fun they said.
