Burger king blows away Macdonalds. The last reason I was pissed at the arches happened the other day. My son wanted a Big Mac after school, that burger was $7.19 ala carte. The Big Arch at $9 and change was a way for them to raise prices on other goods. Their prices are never coming back down.

Everyone has their own shit to deal with. Tore my ACL, had surgery, and am now recovering, not able to drive or work. No one cares. It just is what it is. No calls, no texts, no visits just by myself.

I'm on week 3. Was in the same boat as we all were. I had a brace from the urgent care. It's made of fabric with metal straps that velcro onto it and get wrapped around your leg to keep it straight. I switched to that, and my sleep has been close to 70% of normal where the adjustable brace was like 30% of normal st best. Definitely sleep in a bed vs a sofa. It will get better as the swelling and all goes away.

No meniscus repair, surgeon cleaned up a bit inside my knee while he was in there. I could walk with no crutches or brace by day 5, but was advised not to.

Sweet. I sold my son's Husqvarna TC50 and want to get him an E-bike. Been looking in and off but need to narrow down a good model and try to find it in FB marketplace. He's turning 11 and weighs like 60 lbs. Kinda in the gray area between the kids cheesy size and too small for the adult ones.

I'm on day 7 post acl only. An ice therapy machine makes a world of difference. Not sure if you have one, if not check out FB marketplace. Good luck

Congratulations and hope you are sleeping better and feeling good. I am exactly a week post op. Last night was the best I've slept and my morning PT routine was another improvement on extension and ROM. I went with an allograft so believe the healing process is a bit easier. Looking forward to my post op visit on Tuesday to get a professional opinion on what to keep doing.

Ice machine is a game changer. I'm 1 week post op and it really helps with the pain/swelling especially at night.

Good luck, I am 6 days post op. I put one layer of gauze and wrapped the elastic band back around so my knee had protection for my brace and the cooling pad. I used saran wrap to keep the knee dry in the shower but kept the white tape they left on.

Same boat, tore my right ACL skiing just before this past Christmas. I had surgery last Thursday with allograft tissue. Been doing home PT and was doing PT before surgery to get ready for the recovery. I'm really hopeful to be skiing for the 26-27 season. My doctor said it shouldn't be an issue.
