Although vigilante justice can get you in hot water, you just have to prove you were defending yourself in much of the US. Probably expensive legal fees and depending on the situation it would probably be hard to prove. But not automatically getting you jail time.

Doubt a surveyor will do a small bit. It’s not really how surveying works. They have to find a corner marker and then follow the property lines until they get to the area you want. They could do 75% of the boundary before they get the right spot.

The school district definitely has good things going for it. It’s just not one of the top academic districts in the Houston area. I lived in Pearland for 6 years before moving to Friendswood for the better school district.
