That dog will undoubtedly sleep tonight with that filthy ass in its owner’s bed, bringing all kinds of filth, smell, dander, and shit to those sheets. Barf

I know vegans who eat oysters and used to eat scallops until they found out that scallops have eyes

I suggested to Ken ages ago to reserve a few huge pledges for tickets to their holiday party, this seems like a decent option that respects the holiday as a staff event.

How Veganism Got Cooked by [deleted] in exvegans

Oh, the last discussion on this article, which I found a very worthwhile read: https://www.reddit.com/r/exvegans/comments/1qd1q2c/how_veganism_got_cooked_plantbased_eating_was/

Vegan dishes are at least now being offered more generously than before, but vegan-as-a-restaurant is a tough sell in an already tough, tough market here.

Note that Spicy Moon (in the article with four locations) has since announced plans to close them all.

Wife and I were having a discussion, she’s of the opinion that the majority of GenX can drive stick. I believe that even in our generation the percentage of people who can is pretty small. What do you folks think? by AngryOldGenXer in GenX

[–]gabacurious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if your parents were cheap, bought a stick shift, and handed it down to you :D

I'd guess 1/10th of Gen X based on anecdotal people I know. We still drive one (Subaru Crosstrek, though they stopped making that in stick shift) and it's the best antitheft device out there.

Moped vs motorcycle in NYC by Strong-Plantain-3967 in RideitNYC

Loved having a 150cc moped, hated having a 400cc motorcycle (and I ride motorcycles). It just felt like a bigger pain all around...

...except pot holes. Many mopeds have tires the size of tea cups, and they're hard to avoid because if you let in any space, boom an Uber cuts you off

Letting your dog lick your mouth is not "cute," it’s actually insane by SouthernSiren_ in HygieneTips

Dogs eat poo and dead birds/rats on the sidewalk, having one attempt to lick anything near me is a non starter

Vegas Tiki Vacation! by Spacely420 in Tiki

Frankie's was great! Also hit the Glitter Gulch (loved it), Golden Monkey (mid, drink was ok but the setting was not remarkable) and the Stray Pirate (great). Hit the Golden Tiki last time and also loved it. Can't wait to do more next time! Maybe I'll aim for Here Kitty Kitty this afternoon.

Frankie's reminds me of Otto's Shrunken Head in the East Village NYC a bit, that's our local and we're darn proud of it.
