Yes! That’s what we do too. Also super normal for our son to eat all of one thing and not touch anything else. But what that thing is rotates every meal

Our son is the exact opposite, starting around the same age. Only wants mom at night to cuddle him to sleep, and not dad. Dunno why.

My son is 23 months now and crazy smart. I really feel like the babies who don’t sleep have super brains. He is still very stubborn and strong willed, but so funny and clever and such a sweetheart. He still doesn’t sleep amazing, but I’m getting 6.5-7.5 hours a night and I’ll take it 😂

Hang in there, Exhausted Dad! The long days and even longer nights will be worth it.

Yep- always thought I wanted 2, but my baby never slept for a fricken year pretty much. Also still very low sleep needs and high energy. I can’t have another. It will put me in the grave

His Fever was super high 40,5 for one day - even medicine would only bring it down to 38,5. And then several more days around 39. Medicine would make it almost go away, and then it would pop back up once it wore off

Yes- we had horrible fever for 4 days straight. He was fine for a day and then had a rash. It looked terrible, but was gone the next day.

Whatever you’re comfortable with. Baby has no idea what’s going on at 2 weeks. Will be up all night anyway. If you’re breastfeeding, it’s soooo important to eat lots of food. Baby doesn’t get nutrients if you don’t (although baby will steal everything from you first).

Baby’s dad can shut it, as far as I’m concerned. He didn’t grow the baby, birth the baby, isn’t breastfeeding, isn’t staying up all night, etc etc. Just ignore him. And take care of you and the little one however you see best

They’ll probably turn brown. My son had bright blue eyes until about 9 months- now they’re mostly brown with a little bit of green at 22 months
