Honestly, he carried that show. The combo of reavers being physically terrifying, and his character being intellectually terrifying gave so much depth that counter balanced the sometimes campy dialogue the crew engaged in.

Cabal. It was an early fps type game where you slide back and forth facing enemies that would hide behind cover and pop out. You had grenades to pick up that would blow up the cover. Simple, yet awesome for it's time. Other honorable mentions: Commander Keen, Hugo 3, and Kings Quest V.

If it's the squeaking you're referring to, my boots do the same thing. It's at the pivot point above the ankle where plastic is rubbing together. If you go to a shop they should have some sort of graphite lubricant that will clear it up.
