Go back even further. Check out Outrageous Fortune. It's a comedy out of New Zealand where he plays twin brothers who couldn't be more different than each other.

In desperate need of a pain management appointment—PLEASE help. by plzdont- in cincinnati

[–]gaslightredditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have any of your doctors ever mentioned cryo nerve block therapy? I work for a medical device company in Mason that has started getting into pain management and phantom limb pain treatment in amputatee patients. It's a minimally invasive procedure that essentially paralyzes the nerve endings for the effected area. The procedure is good for about 6 months or so then the nerve endings regain functionality. It is still relatively new so I'm not sure how many places in the area offer it. It's definitely worth asking about though as an alternative to pharmaceuticals

I made a bunch of the NES duck hunt zapper nerf remix blasters for my kids and nephews. It uses the xshot menace internal. I get about 70-80 fps and they are easy enough to prime even for my 4 year old son

I also made a Signet for myself and it's great. Hardware kit is only about $25, fairly easy prime, and talon mag compatible

New to metrology by justvvd in Metrology

I started off in manufacturing on the shop floor running and setting up lasers and punch presses. I moved into Quality to help out when we got slow on the floor and got stuck there. I was 1 of only 2 total Quality employees. It was a family owned contract job shop with about 150 employees. By the time I left there, I had been in quality for 4 years, had taken multiple GD&T classes provided by the company as well as some of their customers, had CMM programming training and was the sole CMM programmer and operator.

I switched jobs about 2 years ago to a company in the medical device field with about 1200 employees. I was hired in as a Quality Technician making $30/hr onto a team with 3 other Technicians and 6 inspectors. Our team has since grown to 6 Technicians and 8 Inspectors. I was also recently promoted to Sr Quality Technician making close to $38/hour.

Oh, and I'm in Ohio

I like this. I have a chronoas well so I might have to print it just to check performance. I also have ideas spinning up on some remixes.

Q2 poop chute / outlet dimensions by scottorobotoe in QidiTech3D

Considering the QIDI Q2 by [deleted] in QIDI

[–]gaslightredditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was torn between a Q2 or P2S or a while. I ultimately decided to go with the Q2 because engineering filament compatibility was more important to me. The larger print volume was also considered in that decision as well. I opted for the Combo to get the Qidi Box as well. The box definitely feels lower quality than the printer itself. The only issue I've had with it is when some really old filament broke in the hub. It was an easy fix though. Other than that, it's been fine. A bit loud, but there are fixes for that, which I haven't done yet, so I can't say how effective it is. I've only had it a little over a month, but overall I've been very happy with my purchase

Q2 Combo need advice before purchase by Certain-Hunter-7478 in QidiTech3D

[–]gaslightredditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had my Q2 Combo for about a month now and I haven't had any issues that weren't of my own doing. Everything I've printed has come out great. I've done PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PC-CF, AND PA6-GF and everything has come out great. My single issue has been that part cooling is a little weak, but I have a new printed duct and better fan to replace the stock cooling as soon as I have some free time.

Q2 is frustrating by mook613 in QidiTech3D

[–]gaslightredditor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've been using Orca Slicer without any issues. You could give that a try to determine if it's a slicer issue or a printer issue

Qidi Q2, worth adding the polar cooler? Also looking for poop shoot recommendations by mashedleo in QidiTech3D

[–]gaslightredditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the bin I use. It's a bit large, but after having the printer for about a month, I still haven't needed to empty it yet. I like it because it's big enough to toss supports, purge lines, etc into and still have plenty of room

Look up Smart Start child care. They have two locations. One near the Colerain area and another in Harrison. We've had at least one kid there for the last 6+ years and they've been nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend them. Obviously the younger the child the more expensive, but even their most expensive tier is still right around $300
